The restaurant doesn't look clean. The plastic plates and their lids are very old and cracked. The octopus roll had a strange taste, as if it were spoiled. I'm disappointed.

Very tasty! We have gotten takeout multiple times, and everything has been fresh, delicious, and nicely packed. We finally tried it in person and it was great! We went on a Friday for lunch and it wasn't too busy. The conveyor belt always had lots of options and we were able to order off the menu as well. Everything was tasty, but the salmon belly and medium fatty tuna in particular exceeded our expectations for a conveyor belt sushi place. It is a little pricey if you get the premium items, but the sushi was definitely very good quality so it seemed worth it to me. Some kid approved items were the tamago and inari sushi. They also had some dessert items like warabi mochi and plain or green tea cheesecake, which were all tasty. We will definitely continue to come here!

The push pop sushi is a huge gimmick, $15 for an inconvenient way to eat a basic roll of sushi, and it's only to-go orders which makes things confusing if you also want to eat things other than a basic roll. They seemed to have a hard time keeping up with the amount of people, as the conveyor belt was practically empty the whole time I was in there.

My son and I were just picking whatever was available off the belt even if it's not what we really wanted, just because we were seated and hungry.

Service was fine overall, but the real problem for me was the price. The sushi definitely wasn't anything extraordinary, but prices were $5-7 per plate, which is insane. I just wanted to try something new and have something fun, but I will not be returning. It's overpriced basic sushi and the push pop sushi was not worth it.

I love Tengu Sushi. Delicious, affordable, conveyor belt sushi!

If you're thinking about trying sushi in a tube like I did, I highly recommend reading this review first.
First, the wait time was very long. I ordered two tubes for my wife and me, and it took about 40 minutes to prepare them.
Second, the taste was disappointing. My wife's tuna roll contained what looked more like minced fish rather than actual pieces of tuna. My salmon roll was made with scraps of salmon that had a lot of connective tissue and tough bits, which usually happens when lower-quality trimmings are used.
Overall, it was an interesting experience, but not one I would repeat. Honestly, the sushi and rolls from a regular QFC taste much better than what we got here.

As far as conveyor belt sushi goes, we think Tengu is one of the best around. They pretty much always have a good selection on nigiri sushi not just the run of the mill fish selections. Their cooked food is quite good too.

Really want to praise the people at Tengu. They go over and beyond to help the customers with anything needed despite it’s not being their responsibility. I got a sprinter in my hand from the chopstick and they really helped me get all the tools I asked for till I got the sprinter out. Can’t thank them enough!

I’m sad. They used to have a sushi bento box where you could chose two types of sushi and it came with cucumber salad. Not anymore. Now the chef decides the sushi choice. Who the hell wants that?

I came sat down thinking it was only going to be 4 star experience and it was a 5. Everything I had at lunch was fresh and delicious. The staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was nice and quiet there was a slight off putting smell but it went away very fast. Have the salmon belly and the medium fatty tuna.

You ever get the craving for conveyor belt sushi? Well I DO and this place did not disappoint. It's cute, cozy, delicious fresh food and apparently I came during happy hour and got 50% off. For reference, I'm leaving at 2pm on a Monday. I'll be back for sure!

I’ve eaten here many times and the sushi is fresh. It reminds me of a conveyer belt sushi spot that makes just enough as to not waste instead of making a lot and the sushi sits there.

The seared ahi is always my favorite. I love the 5 spice seasoning and it has a nice aggressiveness to the flavor that balances well with the slight horseradish sauce. The rolls are well done and I enjoy the many variations that have the eel sauce. Everything is solid and the quality reminds me of Blue See sushi.

Service is fine. No one is going out of their way but they are present. Atmosphere is fine and it feels like a fun place to go after a movie.

My only complaint is that I recently dined here and saw some disgusting crud under the conveyer belt right in front of my eye. It reminded me of looking under a bed and seeing dust balls and grime. I honestly lost my appetite seeing the juxtaposition of dirt and grime so close to raw sashimi.

I told a staff and he told me it was hard to clean. I would only return if the crud is gone. This is why I’m giving 3 stars.

2nd update: After going several more times my opinion on the food here has gone down a little bit. I don't know if the quality has gone down, or if I've just been spoiled by other places, but this place isn't quite as delicious as I remember it. I do think its still very good for belt sushi, but compared to a more traditional sushi place where you order off of a menu you're going to be coming up a bit short. I'll come back here again, but given that I know what I like and don't need to try a bunch of different rolls every time I get sushi this location no longer tops my list. If you're looking for belt sushi I'd recommend Tengu... if you're looking for the best sushi I'd recommend elsewhere.

Update: After about 16 trips with zero complaints I finally ran into an issue. One plate of sushi we got tasted like the fish had gone off. We immediately went to the workers and explained the situation, and they removed the offending fish and marked it off of our check. While that experience was unpleasant it was such a rare and well dealt with occurrence that it hasn't fouled my opinion of the restaurant. I'll update more if this continues to happen, but I believe it was a fluke. This restaurant still gets 5 stars from me easily.

Tldr: I've been here 8 times so far and the sushi is always delicious, the workers are great, the restaurant is clean but the aesthetic and atmosphere are a bit boring. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious sushi.

The sushi here has been excellent every time I've come. Very flavorful, always quite fresh, good selection... Not much to say other than that this is my favorite sushi place currently. The seared 7 spice tuna is my favorite.

The employees have always been quite responsive, fast, polite... Everything I could ask for in a service worker.

The atmosphere is the one place I feel this restaurant falls a bit short. The restaurant is always clean, bright, well maintained. The aesthetic of it all is just a bit boring for my tastes... It feels a bit sterile and.. just boring I guess. The food really does make the restaurant well worth the visit, but I'd be thrilled to see them redecorate a little.
