Love this place. Been coming here for years. Ask for the dressing on your chicken!

I've been coming here for years. The business is a good neighbor, and I get the cost of business is increasing, along with the customer cost, which is becoming difficult to afford.

Portions were huge, enough to last me 3 meals. The sauce was just the right amount of sweetness and I would definitely come back.

This is such a gem. It's nothing fancy, but their food always tastes great. My recommendations are obviously the chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and gyoza. I also had ribs and those were good too. It's a perfect place to go when you just don't want to cook but want something that isn't too greasy. I personally like their salad too, but my partner doesn't like them (more for me 😁). The person who works there (I feel like it's the same woman all the time) is friendly as well! Highly recommend!!!

What used to be our regular neighborhood teriyaki spot has gone downhill this last year, finally to the point where I am leaving a review.
The entire restaurant feels streamlined now, as if a private equity company is operating it. I try to order and eat teriyaki ‘for here’ whenever possible, as you usually get a bigger portion and can eat it fresh. Well, there’s no such thing anymore at this location. Even ordering ‘for here’, you’re served food in a to go container - likely a cost cutting move to eliminate dish washing and rely solely on plastic.
The chicken is still decent as far as teriyaki goes, but the rice is a bland texture less white mass and sauce far too sweet.
I’ve heard the teriyaki madness on 45th is still as good as always, but it’s sad to see the quality dip so low at a spot I’ve been going to for the last 5 years.

I think it's overrated. Just bland chicken with regular teriyaki sauce on top of it, the teriyaki reminds supermarket teriyaki for my taste.

Fast, Flavorful. and big portion size. Parking was interesting. Walked in, was asked what we would like. no upservice, no drinks offered, no extra sauce or napkins.
I ordered $17 spicy chicken. and it was fire. Also got a $20 chicken and beef combo. I finished mine. Step dad finished a fourth. Salad was ok. Sauce on the weak side. Was hoping for a nice citrus or strong ginger dressing.

Really good take out teriyaki; perfect balance of flavors. If the spicy teriyaki isn't hot enough for you, they'll add extra spice. The shrimp yakisoba was also good and had plenty of vegetables.
I recommend take out only; the atmosphere is pretty drab.

The best Teriyaki on Capitol Hill. Generous portions, excellently cooked, crispy chicken. Lunch bowl is a decent deal. A teriyaki plate is two meals’ worth.
