Such a wonderful restaurant. Food, service and ambiance are excellent! Especially love the rooftop dining.
This team from Eri to the entire staff served us like we were royalty. It was our 44th anniversary- the entire team created a greeting card for us / personalized menu and special attention. Phenomenal is a good adjective!! #GOTHERE
The food itself was very good, 3 out of five dishes ordered. The other two items were so-so. Cocktails ordered and then the sever said the kitchen was very busy and recommended ordering all food at on e at that time. The food came about a minute before we even received the cocktails, and my margherita was room temperature with no ice. It was too hard to get the server's attention so my table mate gave me ice from her cocktail. We would have enjoyed the drinks and then since everything came at once we ended up eating and leaving all within an hour. We have been to this restaurant several times over the years and this time was a disappointment. The 3 stars are all for the food because ambience, service and noise levels were a let down. The tables seem to have gotten closer together too.
Such a great place to grab a drink after work or come with a group to celebrate! I loved the aperol spritz and seasonal cocktails. Service was absolutely darling and everyone there is so sweet.
Wonderful dining experience. Every dish was delicious, truffle waffle chips are addictive! 1/2 chicken exceptional sauce/avacado, favorite mussel/clams! Service attentive, friendly, responsive yet not intrusive. Will be back👏👏👏
My friend and I enjoyed a delicious meal on the rooftop deck. We will definitely be returning.
The tables are too close together, so it's really hard to hold a conversation without hearing what your “neighbors” are saying. Also, because they have many herbs and flowers growing around the perimeter of the restaurant, the bees were kind of bad.
I love when my favorite dish ends up being something so unexpected. The Street Corn is phenomenal! Great rooftop as well, amazing dinner spot.
The service was terrific and the food, oh so good! The food almost came out too fast. We did not feel rushed but in hind sight, we may have ordered a few starters and then added to that. We had the Halibut which was cooked perfectly. Every dish we tried, had a nice twist to it. None of us were fond of the $50 per person cancellation fee. Things happen. I would hope common sense would play into it.
This was our second visit during our stay in Seattle! Great meal! We were there for Paella Monday and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was great! One of our favorite spots in Seattle so far!

A summers evening on the roof deck. What could be better. Overall the food was good. Shrimp tostada and peach with burrata were pretty average. Especially disappointed with the grilled peach which lacked flavor. Maybe not surprising since it's hard to get good peaches in the northwest. My advice, use nectarines. Good nectarines abound in summer. Was hoping for something more interesting from the shrimp tostada. Alas. The tuna crudo was excellent. As was the strawberry cheesecake. The expensive paired dessert wine was awesome. I'll pass on the vibrantly colored gin and tonic with rosemary next time but I'm told the old fashioned was just fine. I'd definitely go back for the vibe even though the food underwhelmed on occasion.
I picked this place because I was in town for one night, and The NY Times had just listed it as one of the Top 25 restaurants in town. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. My olives starter were over-marinated in a very heavy, unappealing oil. My Mexican street corn was cold and the corn itself had no natural juices or flavor; it was inedible. My burger was also cold, and bone dry, with no flavor whatsoever, and two huge pieces of lettuce the only topping, plus a slather of mayonnaise that was so overdone I had to scrape half of it off (maybe to mask the dry burger). I took two bites and put it aside. The “fries”, which were also cold, looked like potato chips from a bag. If only they had that much flavor - again, devoid of flavor, cold and bone dry. It didn't help that no condiments, salt, pepper, ketchup, were supplied to make this all at least palatable. I paid my bill and left hungry, wondering how I could have had such a bad experience at a restaurant that's supposed to be one of the best in the city.
Terra Plata is consistently a nice place to eat. Good is great. The staff is knowledgeable, efficient, and convivial. On a beautiful summer night you can't beat the roof patio as a place to celebrate.
Food was amazing, service was very good despite how busy they were, and the communication while making arrangements was outstanding.
The service was above and beyond. They made sure everything was taken care of after a small incident. They far exceeded my expectations. Amazing!
