I sent a group to Terra Plata of out of town guests in town for work. Several folks responded how I found Terra Plata as they'd been here many times and enjoyed it the most of all previously visited restaurants. Thanks TONS for impressing my guests!
We had a great time at Terra Plata for a large group business dinner. Wonderful service and food!
A terrific experience. The dining room is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is creative and the dishes are sophisticated while very approachable. For us this was a birthday celebration and I was touched how the staff made sure my wife was made to feel special.
Food was delicious, once it arrived. Unfortunately 2 of our dishes didn't arrive until everyone was already done eating. The service and kitchen can do better to improve the dinning experience
The service was absolutely exceptional! Our server was Edward and he couldn't be better. Edward and the welcoming host made us feel special and comfortable. The wagyu beef was delicious as was the beet salad! We will come back next time we are in Seattle.
Our steaks were overcooked and the risotto came out so late the entire table had finished eating. Mediocre food, very slow service and a sky high bill. Had a nice experience years ago there, but very different this time. Will not be returning.
Terra Plata β A Perfect Pre-Show Dinner Spot! Terra Plata was the perfect spot before our show at Climate Pledge Arena! The food was incredible β so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Loved the fun, lively vibe and friendly service too. Such a great way to kick off the night β We'll definitely be back! β¨π·π΄
Excellent Restaurant Week 3-course menu. Such a broad number of options in each category it was so hard to choose! Beet Salad and Gem Lettuce Salad were both hits! As were the Sockeye Salmon, Roasted Chicken Breast and the Risotto entrees. Great dessert selection as well β the Basque Cheesecake was to die for. Those that chose the ice cream were equally pleased. Attentive waiter provided great service. Restaurant was full and lively. One of the best dinners out we've had in a long time! Bravo Terra Plata!
Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. We had the beets and risotto plus a great wine and bread.
Beautiful restaurant, excellent service amazing food and cocktails, and heatedrooftop herb garden!

Came here for dinner after eloping in Seattle and the meal was very good. Had the crudo and ribeye. Very flavorful The staff took extra time to make our dining experience special and we sat outside on the rooftop where they had heaters and blankets to stay warm
Reasonable taste. Not a farm to table restaurant, ingredients disappointing. A bit overpriced.
went here for my best friends birthday dinner. when we were sat, we didn't have anyone come over to our table for 10+ minutes. when we finally did have someone come over, there was no apology for the wait, or any acknowledgment of it. mind you, there were about 5 tables in the ENTIRE restaurant, as it was 8:30 on a tuesday. server wasn't friendly, we didn't get a refill on water once, asked how our food was and if we needed anything else. tables next to us received water refills but we weren't even looked at. you'd think for a birthday dinner especially, there would be more proactiveness from staff about providing a good experience. food was small portions and overpriced. i have worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years and this has to be one of my least satisfied dining experiences yet. not worth the money or your time!
We have eaten at Terra Plata perhaps a couple dozen times over the years and it never disappoints. I can honestly say I've never had a dish i did not enjoy. The rooftop is a bonus, especially this time of year. Service is reliably excellent, particularly when we need to make a performance somewhere on Capitol . The place is a gem.
We've dined here several times in the past, and have always had a wonderful experience. This time seemed different. Although the service was as wonderful as always, something about the food was off. The dishes we have had before, seemed less flavorful and uninspiring. The lamb meatballs in particular were dry and bland. The broth for the mussel, was watery and βmehβ. Maybe an off-night or maybe the back of the house has turned over. It will be a while before we go back.
