Thai Tom Reviews
Best Thai food anywhere (including Thailand).
Amazing food at very reasonable prices. This place seems like what a hole in the wall place in Bangkok must be like! Been there 4 times and have loved it each time. Cash only. 5 Stars based upon the food and the accompanying cooking show!

Thai Tom is a popular hole-in-the-wall restaurant that offers a street-food vibe and delicious Thai cuisine. The aromas from the rocket-hot woks enhance the dining experience, and the tofu tod with peanut sauce is a standout dish. The pad "see you later" (pad see ew) features perfectly cooked noodles and vegetables with a hint of char. The green curry, though spicy, is also praised for its excellent flavor.
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, with a small space filled with light and intense scents from the sizzling flames of the cooks. Customers often enjoy watching their food being cooked fresh in front of them, which adds to the experience. There are about 8 tables along the wall and a counter with around 6 seats, often with a line but quick service as all dishes are cooked to order and arrive piping hot. The front-row seating at the counter provides a great view of the chef in action. The small operation is run by one cook and two ladies who wait tables and handle to-go orders, which can make the place a little warm, but it is comfortable outside in cooler weather.
The food quality and reasonable prices make Thai Tom a great dining choice, despite being cash-only and not providing free water. Recent reviews praise the very clean, vegetarian/vegan-friendly options, as utensils are washed and changed after each use. The overall experience is memorable, with fresh ingredients and high-fire cooking noted as highlights. While the staff may not be the most friendly, they focus on getting customers served quickly. The entrees are plentiful and delicious, making Thai Tom a popular spot for those seeking flavorful Thai food in a lively, casual setting.
