I loved my cheese board, and fries. The espresso martini was not my favorite, oh well. We didn’t get to see glass sculptures, I’m not sure if we got there too late but part of it was closed. She said the back was closed. Anyway, it was delicious.
We decided to have dinner at the Bar inside the museum. It was a great choice. Anastasia and Mia were our servers. My husband enjoyed two glasses of their Chardonnay by Lu and Oly from Columbia Valley, Washington. For his dinner, he decided on the Pilchuck Pilsner Battered Fish and Chips, which was crispy cod and natural sea salt fries, with tartar sauce and malt vinegar. We had just eaten lunch an hour earlier but were tempted by the BOGO appetizer promotion. Our first appetizer, the Sake Togarashi Calamari, had too much batter. The breading tasted like it was fried in old oil, so it wasn’t very good. The seasoning they sprinkled tasted like Old Bay. We liked the Warm Salmon Dip much better.
