I recently discovered the Barking Dog Alehouse in Seattle. Even arriving early, my family & I found that the restaurant was nearly full, including the tables outside, along the sidewalk. At times, I found it difficult to carry on a conversation in the somewhat noisy restaurant.
The restaurant’s menu is wide and varied, and features a number of options. In addition, the Alehouse offers a wide menu of beers and cocktails.

We rarely leave our local hood but decided to veer out to the Barking Dog Alehouse last night because we had heard good things about it. First, I don't think this is actually Ballard. More like Phinney Ridge, which to me is a good thing because as much as I love Ballard, I avoid it on Saturday nights, and we almost didn't go here till we realized it's not actually in Ballard. Rather, it's tucked inside a neighborhood, totally unassuming, and 100% worth visiting...
