Asked for Rose Water - immediately received Rose Water 🤭
The bar tender Jeff was an absolute treat to my guests and was not afraid to strike up a conversation about the industry, the space, and even made a custom rose water cocktail for me (I’ve never had rose water haha)
Despite staying a little past closing time Jeff was very accommodating and polite. 5/5 will be back with more friends and family.
I really liked this place -- it had such a welcoming vibe, and the unique décor was amazing. From the moment we walked in, Luke the bartender immediately greeted us with a warm and sincere demeanor.
We initially thought it was a fine dining restaurant and were a little disappointed to see a limited menu. However, it's actually a fantastic spot for drinks and light bites. We decided to stay since we had never been there before, and Luke was so gracious we almost felt bad...read full review

The fried broccoli and hummus plate also received positive feedback. While the service was described as attentive, there were mentions of slow service and an automatic 20% gratuity. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with various seating options like large tables, bar seating, tall tables, and booths. The cocktail list is fun with lots of great options, and the food menu has plenty of choices, including the tasty Mac and cheese with broccoli. The restaurant also has a dark, whiskey-inspired ambiance, and their whiskey drinks are very good, especially the one with smoke that lingers and imparts a woody scent. Overall, The Barrel Thief can be a nice place for a drink and a snack in a cozy atmosphere.
