Time for some real talk. This is the ONLY fried chicken Ive ever had that stays crispy after you put it in the fridge. And this is just an anecdote to explain how crispy, delicious and well made this friend chicken is. Order it in advance, get the garlic rice and collards and finish off with a mochi cake. It's indulgent but worth the calories.
Best fried chicken I've had in US! The chicken skin tastes like fried prawn shell, which was light and delicious. The thigh was really tender. The collared greens was abit too salty but overall okay. There was so spiderwebs in the shop (not v clean) and there's a mandatory 17% service charge. So overall the meal was really expensive, which I felt like was definitely not worth the price. Personally would not recommend but I can't deny it was a damn good fried chicken
Awesome fried chicken but be ready for a thick, THICC coating. If you're afraid of cracking a tooth come for the sides. The rice, potatoes and sauces are on point. Zero complaints. Chicken is juicy and really spicy if you swing that way. Overall a Heavy Highly Recommended from me.
