Great little breakfast stop. We had the egg and cheese and the Robs favorite. Seating available Friday at noon, been here before where seating was very limited.

After years of wondering what a crumpet was, I finally found out in Seattle, of all places. The Crumpet Shop is pretty famous and has a street entrance on First Ave, so no hills to climb or go down to eat here. I got the smoked salmon cream cheese with fresh cucumbers, and it was light but still filling. Plus, endless tea and coffee refills! My boyfriend got a bowl of groats, which he liked – he did say it was a bit sweeter than he expected, so next time he asked them to skip the brown sugar.
I'd totally recommend people stop by here if they're near Pike Place. A lot of other places get all the attention, but this spot deserves it just as much.

This is a lovely place for breakfast or lunch! Everything tasted fresh and they have a large menu.

I enjoyed a lemon curd crumpet and an iced lavender matcha. Both were divine. The shop was small but charming and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

A peculiar store with local Seattle vibe. Ordered the Vermont crumpet. The crumpet is quite salty and on the harder side and the topping is sweet. Not my favorite type of carb, but definitely still worth trying.

I’ve been to Pike Place market many times, but this was my first time stopping at the crumpet shop. I have definitely been missing out! I ordered the Vermont with a small Matcha latte and it really hit the spot after a long drive from Portland. The staff seemed super cool, too. I can’t wait to come back and try a different crumpet!

I tried their autumn special crumpet - with apple butter and cream cheese(?). I don’t think there was any cream cheese though. Only later I learned Americans apparently call apple purée apple butter.
Crumpet itself was nice, but would I paid for this $9.10. ABSOLUTELY NOT.
I intended to use cutlery, but was not possible as the bottom of crumpet is… not burned but very… crunchy. Metal knife was not able to cut through it, so I gave up.
I appreciate the service and atmosphere.
They take cash, but no change.

Tiny place that serves amazing mocha's to order and open-faced crumpet sandwiches. Excellent breakfast before you start your journey through Pike Place Market!

The crumpets are toasted in vegetable oil. The crumpet batter itself is made with water, flour, yeast and salt. It was worth ONE try but I won't be returning.
