As a crumpet aficionado, I can say these are very good, fresh and hot! Some of the combinations are great! We liked that there was nothing too extra or crazy, just quality food. An eccentric little shop that is as cozy as anything close to Pike Market can be. A psychedelic, colorfully surreal Alice in wonderland mural decorates one of the walls, which sums up the basic atmosphere of the place for me: it is inspired by the UK certainly, but it is very distinctly Seattle nonetheless. Go for the crumpets. Chai latte maybe not so much. I enjoyed a delicious toasty crumpet with butter. Simple and delicious! My chai just lacked body and flavor. Maybe it’s an in-house recipe that needs to be reviewed. I’m not dogging them. Just suggesting.
