For several years now, I have enjoyed Parisian Star Sliced Sourdough French bread. The flavor and freshness of this product has always been something my wife and I look forward to each morning as it pops out of our toaster. But, recently (over the last year or so) we've noticed the the holes in the bread are getting bigger and bigger and more numerous. I'm wondering if the baking process has undergone some changes. Perhaps corners are being cut or less knowledgeable...
I would like to express my gratitude to you for what you do. I really like the bread you bake - Pain DU George. It is very tasty! It is good when there are those who make quality products and maintain the brand, they are like a standard for other manufacturers. And this is about The Essential Baking Company.
Not only is it wonderful to have freshly baked sourdough at the ready, their customer service is exemplary. I had an issue with some loaves that I had purchased at Costco, and after contacting them, they sent me back a very nice letter and a replacement item.
