Omg this shashuka was absolutely phenomenal. We also added on the lamb meatballs and they were delicious ? we got their smashed potatoes and they were nice and crispy. Their salted chocolate chip cookie was to die for and I'm a cookie snob. We both are big into cooking and flavors and overall the fat hen delivered!

Loved the Fat Hen, it’s in a cute area, the plates and drinks were delicious. I had the eggs Benedict and a latte but I also sampled the shakshuka which was also amazing. 10/10.

We've been wanting to try this place, but we needed to plan ahead to make reservations. Very glad we did! I ordered the cardamom granola, my husband ordered the crab benedict, and my friend ordered the shakshuka, plus smashed potatoes for the table. We were all very happy with our orders! So so

This place is tough to get into, highly recommend making reservations, otherwise the lines for walk in are super long. Food is ok. It nothing spectacular warranting the long lines, but I'd definitely not wait 30-45 minutes for it. Had the camicia skillet. Very tasty, eggs overdone.

If you can — snag a reservation here for brunch! Everything is delicious and fresh. We got a few plates to share so we could taste a little of everything. Coffee was delicious too! A small spot but the sunlight through the windows is heaven.

Simply perfect! Imagine dining in a cafe in France, minimalist but elegant. Functional. Imagine a small room with guests lovingly enjoying their food as if it's something special,; for it is! And imagine having a short menu to choose from that captures a wide range of tastes ..... But clearly everyentree is wonderful. We had the Salmon Benedict and the Smash burger; both perfection. Service was stellar. Both warm and efficient. And everything was on point. That's our Fat Hen experience.Vegetarian options: Options available

Food was good but sadly not coffee (too sour) and I don’t feel any special service but they charge you 20% tip anyway. I’m not a big fan of that tip part. Other than that pretty cute place!

The food is pretty good, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth. There are some restaurants like Canlis that include gratuities with the bill, but they state it up front. You know what you’re getting into and you know the food and the service will be amazing. After eating breakfast at the Fat Hen I went up to the counter to pay, assuming that’s how it’s done there since no one came to collect the bill. I was then informed that they automatically include 20% gratuities. I wasn’t given a choice in the matter. If they earned it and also made it clear that that’s what they were doing to begin with, it would have been a different story. I know it’s Seattle and everything, but paying almost $40 for two small salads, two eggs and one coffee seemed a bit steep. I think the Hen is fat enough. I’ll take my out to eat $ elsewhere.

Limited seating, go on a weekday morning. Smash burger was just perfection.
