Literally got up and walked out. They had legitimately 4 entrees on the menu. Not sure why you don't have more negative reviews. The prices seemed alright but what kind of restaurant has 4 options

Came here for the first time tonight and enjoyed the happy hour options. Hot dogs, green goddess salad, and animal fries were all very tasty. The salad was especially delicious, a perfect combo of flavors and dressing-to-greens ratio. The happy hour cocktails were ok but nothing to write home about; we did get another cocktail from the regular menu, however, that was much better. Overall this is a nice option in Greenwood--will be back to check out the live music sometime!

Stood in the doorway with 3 other couples for 20 mins, every single member of the staff walked by us multiple times. We were never greeted, by the time it was 20 mins past our reservation we left and walked across the street. It was absurd. Absolutely no customer service.

This restaurant is seriously incredible! I didn't know that flavors could work together the way that they did in the dish that I had. Also I give mad respect to the fact that they craft a seasonal menu. My girlfriend and I both had a wonderful experience in the humble, yet elegant atmosphere. And shoutout to our amazing server Stan for his hospitality! Would highly recommend this restaurant. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Greenwood American Bistro is an incredible experience from food, to service, to ambiance. I highly recommend the Southpaw Punch cocktail and the pita. We will most definitely be back!

My partner and I had dinner here on a Sunday evening and it was an amazing experience. Our waiter Stan was warm and welcoming, as was the rest of the staff. We loved the intentionally slower European-style service, the beautiful space, and all of our food was EXCEPTIONAL. Our favorite dish was the pita and carrot schmoo, but everything else was delectable as well.

We had a truly amazing meal at this restaurant. The drinks, appetizers, and entrees were incredible. We are picky about cocktails and these were some of the best we’ve had in Seattle. The flavors of each drink and each dish perfectly complemented each other. Our server Stan was incredible and gave us the ideal service experience. We will be back!!

Oustanding Food, Amazing really. And inventive.
Do NOT pass up a chance at the fresh pita with carot shmoo! Amazing, we were fighting for the last bite.
The service made us feel like we were VIPs. So gracious and while I was worried I would be under-dressed they made us feel comfortable and welcome.

I randomly picked this restaurant, it’s brand new and the food is delicious. Both my dishes were full of color and had layers of flavors that complemented each other perfectly.

Went for dinner, had reservations. The food was amazing, had the pork coppa- the most tender cut I've had dining out!
Also had the Green Chartreuse V.E.P.- I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu! A wonderful apertif! My table mates got the burger, came with shoestring fries, perfectly cooked!
I would definitely recommend for any occasion- groups, date night out, it is better than a traditional Northwest style restaurant. There's a balance of well made/curated dishes- I love seafood but have a terrible shellfish allergy, it's nice to have more than 1 choice on a menu!
Can't wait to try other items on their menu, it is seasonally rotated.
Must go. Make time to find parking- if you want to pay, parking is readily available around, but there is neighborhood parking if you are willing to walk a few blocks.

Food was all amazing. I had the burger and it was a unique twist on a classic menu item. Stan was an excellent guide through the culinary experience. We will be back!

What an amazing experience! We came here for brunch while visiting Seattle. Our waitress Sandy and our hostess/bartender Rachel were incredible. The winners foodwise were the huevos rancheros, the sugarkelp pita, the bloody marys, and the carajillo cocktail. The service, the food, the drinks, the whole experience will be a memory to keep.

A luxe establishment with a creative and inventive menu.

I ordered the burger and my friend the duck. The duck was plated beautifully and was deboned (which is sometimes not the case, and thus less fun to eat imo).

The fries are some of the best I have eaten in Seattle, maybe even THE best. Micro-thin shoestring fries with seaweed seasoning. Crispy and light. Unreal!

The burger tasted delicious, but despite me ordering it medium rare, it was delivered very rare. The staff were extremely accommodating though, and offered to remake it for me or take it off our bill. No less than 3 different people came to check on us following the mix-up, so I felt the restaurant took diner care very seriously. They wanted us to be happy with the experience and were very attentive. All staff were friendly and did not rush us, despite staying up until closing.

I got the sunflower seed ice cream after (which tasted like coffee and butterfinger) and was super impressed that the ice cream is made in house. This means they also have unusual flavors like jasmine tea ice cream and seabuckthorn sherbet.

Prices are up there, which is to be expected at a place like this, but you get high quality ingredients and thoughtful dishes with beautiful presentation.
