This is a smaller dive bar with a lot of craft beers. They are cash only but the prices are decent for the size and strength of the beers. The bartenders are friendly and were helpful in navigating the beer options available. I never saw a grizzled wizard or any wizards but there were a few grizzled folks in there. The music here was much better than the loud obnoxious music than ran me out of the Octopus Bar.

The bar is small bar but the bar tender was friendly and served us quickly. They only accept cash but there is an ATM on site and prices are really reasonable. There was a small game room on the left too with a few arcade games etc.

It's a tough competition, but this is my favorite bar north of the montlake cut. Great bartenders, fun and interesting people to talk to, varied and often excellent music, and a great atmosphere. It's usually pretty quiet and they on an average night you're about as likely to see Godzilla on the TV as a baseball game. They do not have a huge variety of drinks, but what they have is usually very good.
