As a New Jersey native, I'm particular about my deli sandwiches. This was DELICIOUS!! I got the shilshole pressed and it exceeded my expectations. And how can you beat a sandwich shop ON THE BEACH?? Perfect experience.
Hire more help for your opener. I ordered a grill cheese, cold brew, and chips. It wasn’t until after I had gotten my coffee I found out she was on her own and wouldn’t be able to make my sandwich until she “dealt with the line” which was out the door and growing. After about 10 minutes and a continuing to expand line, I left with a blueberry muffin and felt bad for the woman working. Owners do better.
I lost my work phone on the beach and came back the following day but couldn't find it. I went inside The Kite Cafe to let them know. Matt took my personal information and assured me that he would let me know if it's found. Within 15 minutes after I left, he called to inform me that my phone has been found. He personally handed it to me. Thank you so much, Matt. You are awesome!!!
