The Octopus Bar is a super fun "dive" bar with an immaculate ambiance, where nautical nonsense is something you wish. The drinks include nice IPA beers, and the food is typical bar food, though the Salty Shack offers amazing dishes. The service can be a little slow, and the bar may be understaffed, but overall, it is well-managed with incredibly friendly and organized staff. They even went the extra mile to return a lost bracelet with a great-grandmother's diamond. The bar hosts plenty of midweek events, like trivia nights, and it becomes a lively party scene as the night progresses, making it a great destination for dates, groups, and late-night revelers. The lighting and decor add to the fun vibe, making it a nice place to have a conversation with friends. Despite some issues with ordering processes, many find it to be a popular neighborhood pub for the University crowd.
