Great bartenders and customers, comfortable and affordable. Watching Hawk game on outside tv with my dog (he’s getting much love and many treats).

Happy, nice people. Great bartenders. Easy place to grab an inexpensive drink in a costly city.

Cold beer at a good price. What else is there?Great neighborhood pub vibes.

I saw the menu and saw the price for a Pastrami sandwich and decided I'd try it. It's....a pastrami sandwich. Nothing great. Nothing bad. Meat was fine. The cheese and mustard too. Bread could be more toasted. If you just want an average sandwich for an average price, you can't go wrong! What can you really expect when they just have a little panini grill as their kitchen utensil. The bar is cute and has dive bar vibes and the staff is very nice and helpful for the quick interaction I had with them.5/10*

Great pub. Cozy & welcoming with beautiful wood tables & flowers with outdoor seating. Lovely people here. Norwegian themed.

I'm visiting from Chicago for work and a good friend recommended this bar and said it was her favorite in Seattle. When I went in I was briefly greeted by the bartender then she went back to talking with another customer who she appeared to be friends with. I tried to get her attention to get a drink and it took over 5 minutes to even put and order in because she was so busy talking with another customer. I finally got my drink and then the bartender immediately went to back to talking with her friend. To her credit, the bartender washed her hands before making my drink and after taking my payment which made me feel better due to covid. I tried to order another drink and was told by the bartender to wait while she finished talking to her friend/customer and after me asking repeatedly for another drink I gave up and asked for the check. It took another ten minutes for her to even acknowledge me again and give me my check.Overall it was a negative experience and I wouldn't go back but I'm giving two stars because they were very covid conscious.

Katy, Kat, Darren and Liz are all AMAZING!! This is a very warm and welcoming spot with tables outside too. Tv's for sports and snacks as well. Pop in if you get a chance!! Love it here!!

This is a really cute bar and the drinks were good but I wouldn't go back for the food. My friend ordered a sandwich and the bartender didn't wash her hands before making it even though she handled other people's payments directly before and over handled the ingredients with her bare hands. None of us even wanted to try the sandwich after that.

If I could put 0 stars I would. I was told they wouldn't serve me because they support the person that was found guilty of domestic violence against me. Do not support this bar unless you are comfortable supporting people that protect domestic abusers that have been found guilty in a court of law.

I was banned from stepping stone because they support my abuser I think? I repeatedly have asked to meet with the owners and mangers and no one has given me a straight answer. I have never been over served nor have I engaged in inappropriate conduct in the bar. I walked in to ask the owners why I'm banned and to give them a piece of paper with my contact info on it for the second time and they told me to talk to their lawyer. I don't even know who their lawyer is? Who do I ta

Fun, friendly, hangout with regulars that aren't shy to start a conversation. My wife and I always feel welcomed every time we've been here. I'd recommend it to new and out of town folks looking to get a sense of the real vibe in Ballard.

Warm drinks, mean bartenders. I was ignored throughout my time in favor of people that were obviously friends with the bartender. If you're from out of town leave it to the Seattle regulars.
