The crudo was the best thing we had; very fresh! The beef tartar was very very salty, the teriyaki collar was a bit one-dimensional, and the oysters were okay (East coast oysters are better!!). We also had the mussels with lime leaf, which we enjoyed but not as much as the halibut crudo. Overall, the food was okay but very pricey.
As a follow up to my last review, the meal tonight was excellent. Food was back to how we remember, each dish was fresh and flavorful. Yes, it’s expensive but fresh, flavorful and delicious. It was quiet but we made our own atmosphere
We had a great dinner. Every dish we ordered was very tasty, with terrific sauces. We had the halibut crudo, fried oysters, and hama hama clams. Some portions will seem small for some, but I personally prefer a smaller well cooked and flavorful dish to a larger bland one. Service was prompt, although we arrived near closing time and patronage was sparse, so I can't comment on what it would be like during peak seating.
