Tijuana tacos straight from San Diego made by an awesome up and coming seattle chef. Fresh ingredients, large portions and made extremely fast. Currently enjoying the beautiful capital hill location at Captain Blacks. Pro tip order via Toast and pick it up, don't pay the doordash fee and grab a drink while you wait and even with a great tip you still save money and support small local businesses.

Decided to do take out and order the TJ's fries(campechana) as someone who moved from SoCal and lived in Tijuana for some years. i can say these taste soooo goood and remind me of tacos el gordo. I will definitely come back and try the tacos but these are no joke!

Mid. Me and my girlfriend got four adobada tacos a breakfast burrito and a torta. After reading the excellent reviews we were excited to try it out for the first time. We paid $46 for a mushy burrito, a soft textureless torta and very mid tacos. The burrito was like a tube of mushy food with gristle and cold tatertots, the red 40 looking meat in the tacos and torta where flavorless with an ambiguous spice. Any review that claims this to be the best Mexican food in Capitol Hill is disgrace to better places like Tacos Chukis and antojitos Jalisco. An absolute waste of money and a unsatisfying meal. Do not recommend.,

Ohhhh my god. I don’t always tell people I’m a transplant, but when I do it’s so that you understand my perspective on tacos. If you’re here from California Arizona etc you know this feeling— the big empty hole where amazing Mexican food should be here in Seattle. Well I’m here to tell you that this is everything you’ve been looking for and then some. Real salsa! Carne asada that I would kill and/or die for. TJ’s is something truly special. Doesn’t hurt that they’re at Captain Black’s rn, it’s a match made in heaven. Do yourself a favor and get the best Mexican food you’ve ever had.Kid-friendliness: Inside a 21+ bar
Amazing quality delicious food! I ordered 3 tacos with adobada, asada, and chorizo. Everything was so full of flavor and packed a punch as well. These tacos were also overfilled with delicious toppings. I will say my favorite was the chorizo but they are all so delicious. Also good price as I paid $9 for 3 tacos! The service was excellent and I will definitely be back to try more!

??Best tacos & hot dog in almost 19years living in Seattle. My son is picky and he loved the tacos too. Everything was tasty and delicious. I drove all the way from Renton just to try the food and it was worth it. Try all that delicious food you won’t regret it.
