Ordered two rice bowls, one chicken and one pork. The meats were pretty indistinguishable, and definitely agree with what someone else said re: being cooked overcrowded and steaming instead of getting crispy. We got half rice/half salad and the salad came with a weird mayo-based sauce that seemed very out of place. There was not much acidity or sourness at all in the bowl; it comes across just bland. The rice had no seasoning at all.

Pork banh mi was mediocre at best. The pork had been cooked overcrowded and was steamed rather than grilled, with nothing crispy about it. The flavoring was also off, relying on a lot of sugar and very little of the typical vietnamese flavors, apart from cilantro. The bread is rather low quality too. All and all, a very disappointing experience. Only advantage is that the food is ready quite quickly.

the banh mi are good and tasty
I ordered the chicken banh mi and the meatball banh mi. It was so flavorful and had a lot of filling. The bread was soft inside and a bit toasted on the outside. The drink also very good, to sweet to my taste so I have to ask for reduces sugar. It is small place but nice and clean just about a block from the green lake. Nice area to walk around and there are view restaurant nearby within walking distance.
