My boyfriend and I had a great time here! The food was wonderful and service was well timed. The restaurant was pretty quiet, the space was low lit, so good date ambiance for early Valentine's Day dinner. Entrees we selected were the salmon and New York steak and they were phenomenal!! The supplements on the steak house menu we got were the shrimp cocktail (very fresh) and baked potato with broccoli cheese sauce (easily one of the best baked potatoes I've ever had)....
The service was off. Two waiters hustling while others stood around chatting. Tables waiting long times between courses with plates uncleared. Food debris left under bar and on banquette even after the area had been “cleaned.” My main was cold as was the table next to mine. Chef/owner chatting with friends rather than leading the restaurant. The food/flavor is good, but someone needs to teach people about attention to detail.
Tomo completely won me over. The food was fantastic, the service was warm and attentive, and the whole experience made my birthday feel genuinely special. We'll absolutely be back for more. Thank you, Tomo, for such a memorable night.
