Must experience. Has wide variety from yeast to cake and many in between. The chocolate glazed “raised ring” was delicious but highly recommended the maple bar. I couldn’t decide between them and just ordered both every morning during my week long trip.

Nobody else makes the chocolate donut/maple icing combo, so this is a must-do every time we come to Seattle. It's my very favorite donut!

This is one of my favorite doughnut shops in Seattle. It's a really huge space with a lot of seating an an upstairs area. They have a lot of cake doughnuts, which are good but I prefer the fluffy texture of yeast-raised doughnuts. Their drinks are decent and the Sproda is surprisingly good. I'd love to see a bigger selection of yeast-raised doughnuts, but overall this place is great.

For years I’ve come here to get a chocolate raised ring and for years they’re out every time I walk in.

I've been coming here for about 6 months and I always get the Bavarian Creme - best damn doughtnut I have ever had! This time I decided to try something new and went for the Maple bar. Like the Bavarian Creme the doughnut itself is delightfully chewy with lots of "corpo" as the Italians say. No airy fluff here. This is one hefty doughnut made to be taken with a hot cup of coffee (which also was excellent). The Maple bar won't replace my all time fav but it is a good second choice. The staff also a very nice. Enjoy.

The ambiance is wonderful and so are the donuts, but I’ve tried many of their espresso drinks and all the coffee is truly terrible and has been for the last 3-4 years I’ve been going there. I really would love to get my daily coffee and work from here every day but they need to reevaluate the coffee they use, and/or get better training for the baristas.

Love the spaciousness of the shop, the second level and floor to ceiling bookcases were very welcoming and inviting ? got the root beer glazed donut and the lemon glazed old fashioned - lemon flavour was good, disappointed that I couldn’t taste any rootbeer flavour in the other as I was really looking forward to it. Got a London fog which was okay. The dough on both were nice and fluffy so at least dough quality was goodOverall flavours could use a boost but still wouldn’t mind visiting again to try more flavours ?
Tried 3 donuts here and they were all delicious! My favorite was the Boston cream. Yum! The donut shop was super cute inside- it felt like a bookstore. Large, airy with lots of space for sitting.

I made the trek from Pike Place to check out this place. It's a unique ambiance. I definitely give that a 5. I order an apple fritter. I actually ate it the following morning. It tasted like glazed sugar. I was anticipating natural flavors life apple & cinnamon. I'm giving them the benefit of doubt by assuming that the time may have affected the quality of taste.

Great donuts, not much else to say. Nice clean location?Dietary restrictions: Sadly they had no gluten free options. But I imagine gluten free donuts would be hard.
