The atmosphere on a Monday morning was quiet and calm. The staff was very kind and attentive. We got a coffee, chocolate bar and maple bar donut. Very tasty. The donuts were dense, I tend to like them a little lighter and fluffier. The chocolate glaze on top was tasty. The coffee was good and so was the maple bar. There are nice large windows inside which gives you pretty views to look at. The place was clean and well organized.
Walked in as the doors opened. Met with a warm smile and helpful attitude. I was ready to pay. At this time I was informed that they are a cashless establishment. What a let down. The cashier felt my frustration & instead of being rude or snarky he said would you still like one of your doughnuts? Very surprised and more than thankful. Found this place on a whim while getting off of the Light Link on our way to the ferry. My partner and I had only had one donut our entire stay and figured we check out an actual donut shop instead of a cafe.
The elevator to the next floor was out of order making it a bit harder to reach with our luggage so, keep in mind that you have to climb a bit. It is right next to the ferry...
