I recently visited Tous Les Jours and unfortunately had a very unpleasant encounter with one of the staff members. The employee's attitude was extremely hostile and unhelpful throughout my interaction. Despite my attempts to clarify their questions and provide explanations, they continued to repeat the same inquiries, showing impatience and rudeness. When I expressed my confusion and attempted to communicate the information differently, the staff member remained uncooperative and dismissive, claiming they couldn't understand or see what I was referring to. It was evident that their lack of willingness to assist was not due to a language barrier but rather a refusal to make an effort to comprehend my concerns. Moreover, I found the staff member's demeanor particularly off-putting, as they appeared visibly disinterested and made no effort to accommodate or address my inquiries. Additionally, their dismissive behavior extended to their physical posture, as they remained stationary and did not make any effort to adjust their position to better assist me.Furthermore, the employee's unprofessionalism was highlighted by their refusal to acknowledge their own limitations and make any effort to improve the situation. Despite being in a customer service role, their demeanor was confrontational and unhelpful, leaving me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with my experience at Tous Les Jours. In conclusion, my visit to Tous Les Jours was marred by the poor attitude and unprofessional behavior of one of the staff members. Their hostility and unwillingness to assist tarnished what could have been a pleasant experience, and I am left with a strong sense of disappointment. I hope that the management takes steps to address such behavior and ensure that future customers do not have to endure similar encounters.

The pastries here are delicious. I would try a few things…especially if it is all or part croissant.

Well, I was at the door at 7:30 am and saw someone behind the counter. They saw me but then got her phone out. I tried opening the door and it was locked. I tried several times and the person was still on her phone. The person then unlocked the door to ask if "I work here" and I said No. The person then told me they were new and no one is going to show up until 7:45 or 8 am. What kind of business treats their employees like this? Especially a new employee? Ridiculous!

Sunday morning, the girl at the counter was the kindest soul. Gave me some great recommendations, and the food was amazing and tastier than what I expected. 100% recommend !

update:After just one day, the fruits on the cake already gone bad. Very disappointed and will not recommend. The green tea cake is really average, close to zero green tea flavors, and the cream is quite heavy as well.

I stopped by to grab some snacks/a meal on a random weekday night for the first time. I grabbed a tray and got a taro cream bun, guava pastry, and a Croque Monsieur. I stood in line to check out and there were two other people in front of me. It took, a shockingly long time for those two to be checked out and for me to be served, which was slightly surprising but understandable as only one person seemed to be working. My order came out to over $20 which surprised me just compared to what I've paid in the past at similar pastries in SF. I took my food home and first eagerly ate the croque monsieur. It was, fine? Nothing special, could have had more flavor, it had been kept warm quite well. I then tried the taro bun. This is my mistake, but I did not expect for it to be apparently coated in peanuts which was not a welcome addition for me. Also because it was a taro cream, it was a light texture and less "taro forward" than a typical taro bun. That plus peanuts meant it wasn't for me. The last thing, the guava pastry, was the saving grace! Tasted great, pastry had a great crunch, and I would definitely get it again. I definitely will be back at some point to try the drinks!

I bought a classic mocha birthday cake. I was charged $43. The cake is NOT worth the price AT ALL.Staff is rude. This bakery needs to be avoided at all costs.

Posting here because there’s no public information: they don’t serve any drinks, hot or not after 7pm so don’t ask. You’ll be treated flippantly and without grace by the single employee who took 5 minutes to notice you.

I've started treating myself every week to baked goods from Tous Les Jours. My current favorite is their chestnut pan bread. The taste and texture remind me of Portuguese sweet bread, but the roasted chestnuts raise it to a whole other level. I get my baked goods delivered by UberEats, bundled with a meal, and they never disappoint!

They were closed at 7:50 am, although based on the website they should be open as of 7:30

I'm not a fan I felt like everything was very bland and dry. They have wonderful presentation.

Cakes I got from here were absolutely incredible, although the staff seemed a bit rude/unhappy and that kinda sucked :/

Food - I always love the chance to get snacks here. We come quite a bit. I haven't had anything that I haven't liked. Service - Always friendly and polite and able to answer questions and assist. Ambiance - It's cute and conveniently connected to the H District. The packaging is also super cute.
