Swung by Trailbend to wrap up a long urban hike and was super impressed by this place! I sat at the bar and the service was phenomenal - funny, helpful, and sharp. The drink options were pretty interesting and food smelled good, although I didn't try any. The decor inside was similarly impressive - a nice mixup from the brewery aesthetic of the area.
Nice open, modern space. Huge, well-curated selection of beers. And the garlic boat I had was delicious. There's a lot of competition for good beer in the neighborhood, but a lot of those don't offer food, so this is a great option if you want both.
Many places have happy hour food and some places have food to accompany happy hour. This place has a great happy hour food menu, and a party of four can be satisfied by ordering from the menu and enjoying a couple of drinks. I don't ever feel like I need to grab a bite from the food trucks nearby, and think more about their small bites than their drinks.
