We found this restaurant by accident the last time we were in Seattle. We thoroughly enjoyed it, we had to go back when we were in Seattle. The stone pot is the bomb!
I was waiting on some car repairs and found this nice little place. The storefront was not right on the sidewalk. It seemed really clean compared to other restaurants nearby that I checked out. I got the sesame chicken (I think) and I loved it because it was still crispy after they had sauced it. Such a good meal at a nice price in a clean welcoming place. I highly recommend!
As a Latinoamerican, I consider the flavor it’s amazing. The portions are relative to the price you pay. Is a little bit expensive but it’s worth it
Been going here since I was a student from 2009 to 2013.
Recently started going back as I moved back into the area recently.
It's still the best place on the ave with the nicest staff members and owner.
Great prices, great portions, great quality and great vibe.
Cute family-run restaurant with daily food at reasonable price
This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle for many years now! The tofu bento is always soooo good and the service is so wonderful. I moved away from Seattle but would move back just for this restaurant :) highly recommend to anyone in Udistrict looking for a delicious and filling meal!
Very small but chill place to get Korean and Japanese food near UW. The portion and price are reasonable, and the food is also very flavorful.
One of my favorite place to enjoy home like authentic food from Korea. Good portions and friendly atmosphere.
Parking: Free parking

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the U District. The quality of the food is amazing and the price is reasonable.
If you get kimchi fried rice, or the pork bulgogi, you won't regret it.

The chicken katsu may taste decent, but the tiny portion of chicken they give you for $17 is egregious. You guys need to AT LEAST double the amount of chicken you put in that. You’re a restaurant — not a Soviet war camp trying to ration out meals amongst millions of soldiers.

Good vibes! ^^
Kind friendly owner. Love supporting woman owned local businesses. Clean welcoming space. Outdoor seating. Root beer. Lots of Korean food around so choose wisely :)
Recommended: Dakgangjeong (Chicken) Authentic Korean taste and big portion. If you prefer milder food you may think it’s a little spicy but that’s subjective!

I asked for a mild dish but got an extremely spicy one. I asked if they could provide something to cool it off (like a creamy salad dressing), remake it, or refund, all after only a couple bites, but all 3 requests were declined. I left hungry and sweaty.

The area is small but most small places contain a massive amount of flavor. The ambiance is astounding, the music is very pleasant, and the TV has great slides that articulate the cultural significance of the restaurant. Thank you for being a hidden gem of a restaurant. They have limited staff so early in the morning but guaranteed flavor thank you.
Parking: The parking spots are limited but not limited to a sidewalk. The lot is big enough to fit 20 cars max.
