This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the U District. The quality of the food is amazing and the price is reasonable.
If you get kimchi fried rice, or the pork bulgogi, you won't regret it.

The chicken katsu may taste decent, but the tiny portion of chicken they give you for $17 is egregious. You guys need to AT LEAST double the amount of chicken you put in that. You’re a restaurant — not a Soviet war camp trying to ration out meals amongst millions of soldiers.

Recommended: Dakgangjeong (Chicken) Authentic Korean taste and big portion. If you prefer milder food you may think it’s a little spicy but that’s subjective!

I asked for a mild dish but got an extremely spicy one. I asked if they could provide something to cool it off (like a creamy salad dressing), remake it, or refund, all after only a couple bites, but all 3 requests were declined. I left hungry and sweaty.

The area is small but most small places contain a massive amount of flavor. The ambiance is astounding, the music is very pleasant, and the TV has great slides that articulate the cultural significance of the restaurant. Thank you for being a hidden gem of a restaurant. They have limited staff so early in the morning but guaranteed flavor thank you.

Parking: The parking spots are limited but not limited to a sidewalk. The lot is big enough to fit 20 cars max.

Love this spot in the university district at UW. Walkable from campus as a student. Great place for all. Alot of options on the menu. Please always look at menus ahead of time if you are vegetarian or have food sensitivities.

Please don't misunderstand; the food was good, but the incident that followed was quite unsettling. We had ordered a serving of gyoza, which was supposed to include seven pieces. After receiving all our dishes except the gyoza, we began our meal. Realizing the omission, I alerted the server to the missing item. She checked our order and assured us that the gyoza would be ready shortly.

To our surprise, we watched her retrieve the gyoza from an outdoor table, leading us to believe she had initially delivered them there by mistake. We expected that she would prepare a fresh order for us. However, to our dismay, she presented us with the same gyoza three pieces were warm, suggesting they had been sampled by the other patrons, while the remaining four were cold.

When we addressed the issue, her justification was unsatisfactory; she claimed the remaining pieces were untouched. We politely requested a new order of gyoza, hoping to resolve the situation amicably.

Ordered chicken katsu and beef short ribs. Chicken katsu was good but beef short rib was not good. Portion size didn’t match the picture on the menu and not worth for $25 and it was really chewy.
