Bought the chicken teriyaki bento for lunch and was less than pleased with the quality of the food.

When they were preparing the order, I saw the “cook” airfrying the tempura which tasted like store bought frozen ones and microwaved rice. The chicken itself was dry and tasteless.

To top it all off, there was a thick strand of hair at the bottom of the rice and threw the rest away after being disgusted

For $20 bento, I’d eat anywhere else around the area. Please do better

Great bento box, the beef was flavorful and it was a balanced and great dinner as I was on the go with work.

Very good sushi for decent prices. The bento is super filling for $20 and they have Sapporo bottles with cold pint glasses.

I came here for dinner at 8:20pm which is 40 minutes before they close.

My server was willing to let me dine-in and I ordered Katsu Curry special ($17) but the lady who made my food wasn’t so happy about letting me dine-in. I heard her saying “Why dine-in? We close at 9”.

She was extremely rude about it to server staff and I do believe she made sure I heard it. Disappointing.

At least food was decent and server gave me a complimentary miso on the side. I would not suggest to eat here for dinner.

Food was good for the price. Didn't love that they had us order from the counter and when the next two different parties walked in they ordered from the wait staff. But the food was high quality. Would eat here again.

One of my favorite places to get lunch. Quick and always tasty.

Nothing special. Sushi/Maki was average. Not expensive however some of the sushi was slightly cooked which is never a good sign. Miso soup was great, the only positive thing. It is almost self service, you order and pay before you get serviced however they push tips before that.

I have sampled sushi around the world, including Japan, and this place is fantastic. Don’t be fooled by the spartan, unfinished looking dining room. That’s just part of the charm. Ordered five different special rolls and each one was manicured to perfection! Fish was ridiculously fresh, flavorful, not overpowering, lightly sauced, and just a pleasure to eat! Just go. You won’t be sorry.

It’s just ok. Maybe they specialize in nigiri and sushi rather than the larger meals, or maybe my order suffered because I went there in the evening and got the end of the day leftovers 🙃

I ordered a takeaway bento, nigiri and gyoza. The bento rice was dry and the Katsu even more dry, didn’t seem fresh and probably over cooked. The rice in the bento box seemed dryer than the nigiri rice so I enjoyed the nigiri for sure, but the rest was average. I'm unlucky to give it another try as there are some pretty competitive Japanese options very close by.

Pretty good meal sizing and the food was good. It’s mostly self serve however.

Pretty good sushi overall. Easy recommend when on a business trip to downtown Seattle. Not cheap, but menu has budget options.

The sushi was amazing!!! And this is coming from someone who lived in Japan so my standards for sushi was already high to begin with. I tried not to have any expectations here, but was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Rainier box (pictured) and a roll. Looking forward to ordering more in the future. ?✨
