Please update your menu with food allergy warnings! I have a peanut allergy and the Marzipan Latte is completely misadvertised -- I had a pretty bad reaction after a couple of sips and was super confused. The staff eventually explained it’s actually made from Mazapan, which is apparently a Mexican peanut candy, but they didn’t seem concerned about my allergy or the fact that the menu was mislabeled...I know many people have much more severe allergies than me, so please update your menu for everyone's health and safety!

We visited yesterday, around 2pm.For a cafe that heavily advertises being of Mexican influence, it would’ve been nice to see a diverse staff (inclusive of Mexicanos or Chicanos) instead of a staff of only white people. I was excited to come as a Chicana who just moved not too long ago from CA, as it’s difficult to find authentic Mexican restaurants or cafes here. The lack of diversity was disappointing, but I looked past it.It was our first time, so we of course were unfamiliar with the menu. The barista told us they were out of almost all of their sandwiches, but that was totally okay. It happens. However, it sucked that our male barista acted irritated by our questions, and rudely pointed at where the menu was without saying anything when my partner asked what the Lumberjack was. We both used to work in food service management and understand that it can be a lot dealing with new customers, but the attitude and rudeness was not warranted. This is the main reason that I don’t think that we’ll be back. The food is not prepared fresh as I thought it’d be. It appeared to be heated up, packaged food. It was pretty good though. Drinks were great. The cafe itself was beautiful inside!I urge this business to do better in their selection of staff, in both diversity and customer service. Employees who get so easily annoyed by new customers asking a question or two shouldn’t be working in food service. It drives away customers who were excited about visiting, like my partner and I. Not a great first impression.

It’s such a unique and quirky coffee shop. I really liked the decor and the overall atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and I liked the drink menu, a lot of fun coffee options.

Really it is the place to be. Unique drink options distinguish it. I mean look at the picture I added- there are petals in the coffee. Condensed milk in my coffee? Ummm that's gonna be a 120% tip. Just kidding. I so would tip a higher percent. Never be offended guys if I come in and don't tip too much. It's not your fault. It's not like I don't tip at all though but I think I could be doing more. Also open later is a definite bonus. But to bring it back to tipping, sorry again. Love you guys. 15%.

My favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. Coffee is great, baristas friendly, decor is awesome. Don't miss the bathroom! Dropping 1 star because (at least on Tuesdays and Thursdays) the smell of the whatever cleaning agents they use in the morning lingers for hours and isn't very pleasant.

My couple friends and I visited this place recently during evening non rush hours and had a pretty terrible experience.Their assortments of pastries are arranged on two sides of the cash counter. Between looking at those and deciding the coffee among the three of us we ended up taking 30 odd seconds more than the usual. The cashier had become visibly impatient by then and confused our sizes. But after correction we found our seats. However, upon the barista announcing our orders, they were incorrectly placed in to-go cups despite our clear "for here" request during payment, and the cups lacked coffee names. When we asked for clarification, the barista responded super rudely. To add to the frustration, all our orders were mixed up, with each of us receiving something different than what we'd ordered. When I raised the issue, the cashier simply placed the corrected orders in the same cups, insisting there was no real difference between them. This really surprised me, as the menu listed them as three distinct items!!All in all we had an extremely disappointing experience and wouldn’t be visiting here again.

Food - our breakfast/brunch food was fresh and not just reheated or pre-packaged stuff. The breakfast sandwich for my partner and the veggie burrito for me. They were still serving breakfast items (as available) until around 1pm, which was lovely. They have lots of options for dietary restrictions like vegetarian (me) or vegan or gluten free. The drinks were also fantastic and decently unique selection with a cornucopia of milk options (including sesame milk that I'll have to go back to try). We went with the chai (more spicy than sweet, which is my pref) and the Valentina, which was really good. Service - very speedy and friendly server. She was also very patient with any questions and seemed to be handling a full cafe of people by herself without us even realizing. Ambiance - super cool and funky spot. It's got elegant but unique decor that you want to look at and find more detail in, but doesn't distract from any work or conversation. It's just a pleasant and unique vibe! I would absolutely come back here and am already planning on bringing some friends. Gotta try the cochas next time before they're out!

I really enjoyed my valentina's iced latte. It was lightly sweet and topped with beautiful petals. The atmosphere was calm and made it easy to focus and do work. They ran a great deal at night after 6:00 p.m. that you can get a free pastry that helps lessen their waste, which I think is a great idea. My barista was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Nothing Mexican about this "Mexican" cafe. Paid for positive reviews and deletes negative reviews.Food- again it's typical Cafe food. You can get this menu at most cafes except the stuffed concha. The stuffed concha is way over prices for a Mexican brioche bread with strawberry and caramel. $10!Coffee- the coffee lacks any flavor. They throw around "Mexican chocolate" but again it taste like cocoa powder. No spices or anything. Again truly disappointed.Pastries- again not Mexican at all. You get French pastries. Croissants, macaroons all the stuff you can get at any other french cafes. I'm not even sure they bake their own or just resell.Service- typical Seattle attitude. Not rude not friendly. So frustrating that this is what they sell and advertise as Mexican. It's not. Your better off supporting another Cafe down the street. At least they are honest.
