Spent a couple of hours exploring San Jose, and found some great spots! Code Racks was seriously buzzing – the food came out ridiculously fast and the staff were super friendly. Portions were good value for the price, though it got pretty crowded. Yarrow Waterhouse was a nice little stop for chips and salsa, really fresh. Parking was a bit tricky around Sharks Way, but overall a fun afternoon!

Just tried a little place near Pikes Place – Code Racks. Seriously good Mexican! It was packed, but the food came out super fast and was really flavorful. The staff were really friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Portions were a decent size for the price. Maybe a little more water on the table though, it got pretty busy!

Okay, so I checked out Code Racks on 1st Ave in Seattle – it was seriously buzzing! The food came out so fast, which was amazing. I got the chicken burrito and it was huge, really good value for the price. The staff were super friendly, making the whole experience really positive. Maybe a few more tables for outdoor seating would be good, but honestly, totally worth the wait.

Okay, so I checked out Villa Escondido on 1st Ave. It was pretty busy when I went – definitely a lively spot. The food was decent, I got the enchiladas verdes and they were good, but honestly, a little pricey for what I got. The margaritas were okay, standard bar margaritas. Parking was a nightmare, had to circle a few times. Maybe order takeout if you want to skip the bar scene!

We just got some chips and salsa while on our way back up from Pikes place. The chips are made to order so they were nice and warm and fresh. The salsa was amazing. Drinks were good.

Ver good but the $1.25 charge for sour cream it’s wild! They don’t let you know that it will be extra charge for that.
Will keep this short.
Came in with my work team for a work lunch.
Entire place smelled like a used stadium urinal.
Dark, odd energy, and quiet.
Baby cockroach (pictured) crawled from either the bottom of plate or from the table onto my food.
Advised server of cockroach and they came and grabbed it with a napkin.
Entree was still charged to check.
Entire team will not be back.
Do not recommend.

This place has great food, great service, and is never full. I kinda hope I dont ruin that, but they deserve more business so I have to post.
