Wasabi Sushi SEA offers fast and friendly service with tasty and fresh sushi at an affordable price. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with calm piano music and chill vibes, perfect for a casual meal out. While some dishes like shrimp gyoza fell short, the sushi is more basic but so good, with enormous roll sizes. The agadashi tofu, Salmon Hawaii Poke Bowl, miso soup, and spicy tuna roll are all delicious. The tempura sweet potato roll is served with optional sauces like spicy mayo, and the avocado slices are placed with care. Prices are great for Seattle, and the food is always fresh. The open kitchen is clean, though you can’t see the sushi prepared. It’s a quick, quiet spot right on Pine by Boren Ave.
