Best tavern style pizza in Seattle, no contest. My partner is from Chicago. We have tried the other “Chicago pizza” spots in Seattle & West of Chicago is the only one we absolutely love.

Chicago native right here. Born in Chicago, raised in Chicago, and still live in Chicago. Some of the pizza places I grew up with are Palermo’s on 9th, Pats, Vito and Nick’s, Lou Malnatis, and many others. I’ve been eating Chicago pizza for almost 40 years so I’d like to believe I have a fairly good idea of what good Chicago pizza is (thick and thin). Had lunch with my brother and ate it all. Ordered a sausage and pepperoni tavern style pizza. This is by far the best tavern style pizza west of Chicago... No pun on the name. It's 100% legit. This place is delicious and I've been thinking about it for the past week. Great staff and comfortable setting. Looking forward to trying the deep dish.
