Love this place! Bartenders are awesome and attentive. Security is good and it generally feels pretty safe. Great atmosphere, good crowd and good music.

Unfortunately a lot of straight men taking up space here recently. Cover is cash only, $5. Music is very hit or miss but the door staff is great. Very dive bar ish, could probably pull in some better DJs because we often hear the exact same set.

Can we please end dj ricki leigh’s reign of terror at wildrose. My god. I’m a lesbian and will always end up coming back here but I would be here a lot often if you guys would diversify your music. I understand that music is subjective but the stuff ricki leigh plays is subjectively bad. You guys just need to switch it up more. Hire more transfem djs please ? more black and brown lesbians ?

Great queer bar with fun events, great energy, and amazing people. The bartenders are always friendly when it’s a quiet Monday or a busy Saturday night. I love the diversity of events there, you can find something for everyone.

We came 3 times before and it was fine but then…. A girl got upset because I shared some stupid dance tips and they treated us like shit. It’s supposed to be a safe space and that includes a bisexual woman with her husband just having a good time. Not cool. Won’t go back!

I was really looking forward into spending time at this bar. I flew from California, my cousin flew from Canada and we met in Seattle. And this is one of the things I wanted to visit because we don't have one right here in my area. I had the most horrible experience. I was very disrespected, they had trivia in one room, and we saw a couple of empty chairs. We went to go sit down, and then the guy that was holding the group told me and my cousin that all the seats are taken? And he pointed with his finger to the other room, which is it was empty with tables and chairs, and he said you go sit over there Ladies and then we feel like we were put in a corner in time out the drink was awful. She put water. Inside my old fashion, it's supposed to be just whiskey.And I told her I asked her how she would make and it sounded good then I saw her at the end, splash water in it made it terrible, i asked her.Why would you put water in it?She said to loose up the sweetness i was very disappointed, very hurt.And I do not recommend this place. I really was looking forward to visit it . Googled it months before we went.

In this day and age, it's difficult to find bartenders who are kind - especially on capitol hill. Riley fits the bill. She's kind, attentive, makes great drinks, and recognizes you as a human being. Panda (security) is also great. I've seen him, after hours & on his own time, breaking up a fight - because he cares. He puts himself in danger, for the sake and security of others, because he cares. Even off the clock. & It's nice to be able to feel safe.
People like this are rare, and appreciated 🫶 Thank you! ❤️

They say the list of accepted IDs is on the outside of the establishment. Maybe it is, but how about having something so important for customers already as a disclaimer on your website? I understand there are laws, but at least be clear to customers who might not be regulars, as sometimes these things feel targeted.

Got in line at the wild Rose last night (a Saturday night) and was very disappointed to see them letting in a ton of cis men. They are not queer men/trans/nonbinary when every third or fourth group in line has a man, and they are literally balding. We saw single cis men with no friends walking in. These are the WORST men to let in. These men are clearly not plus ones, and are quite literally going in to prey on lesbians. I spoke in line with two men who were there to hit on lesbians- and these are the people they are allowing in. On top of that they want a $5 cover charge. Such a shame to see them not keeping this space safe for us anymore- we have about 30 left in the country and I guess this will no longer be one of them.
The energy in this place is very queer and they attract good people. The music is simply not it - top 40 from 10 years ago and a severe shortage of sapphic artists being played. Also they close the place down 15 minutes early on a packed Saturday night? It was very confusing. People were still having a great time and they cut the music and ushered people out.
