We discovered this restaurant from a Reddit Seattle sub that asked people what they thought the most authentic cuisine is from their home country. So we were expecting tasty Thai food. I have ordered here three times. My take: If you like spicy heat, you will have a hard time here. The complexity of flavor overall is very tasty but spiciness level is too unpredictable, usually too mild. If you order a 2 or 3 star in a group of 1 star orders, they will just make all orders a 1 star. They just don’t pay attention to your order in this regard.
I just celebrated my birthday at Yes Siam and it was a wonderful experience! Our server, Bass, did an amazing job of making it feel like a celebration: helped us cut/serve the cake my friend brought and offered to take pictures. The food was great as always, and I’m excited to have leftovers today to keep the celebration going.
