A combination of kik wot, alcha kik, gomen wot, atakilt alcha, and salad.
Shiro Wot (ሽሮ ወጥ)
Roasted, ground beans cooked with onions, garlic ginger, and berbere.
Misir Wot (ምስር ወጥ)
Split red lentils cooked with onion, garlic, ginger, and berbere.
Yemitad Shiro (የምጣድ ሽሮ)
Shiro seasoned with spices and berbere served in injera.
Gomen Wot (ጎመን ወጥ)
Collard greens cooked with onions, garlic, and ginger.
Atkilt Alicha (አታክልት አልጫ)
Cabbage, carrot, and potatoes sautéed with onions, garlic, and ginger.
Alicha Misir (አልጫ ወጥ)
Split lentils cooked with onion, garlic, ginger, and turmeric.
Difen Misir (ድፍን ምስር)
Whole lentils cooked with onions, garlic ginger, and berbere.
Salad (ሰላጣ)
Fresh tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and greens seasoned with spiced lemon dressing.

Zagol Combo (ዛጎል በያይነቱ)
A combination of assorted veggies, qey wot, gomen wot, and kik wot.
Musena (ሙስና)
Kitfo in the bottom topped with tib.
Kitfo (ክትፎ)
Minced beef seasoned in spices, niter vibe, and mitmita. Served raw, medium rare, or well-done. Make it special with ayib and Gomen for an additional charge. Add kocho for an additional charge.
Habtam Bedeha (ሃብታም በደሃ)
Shiro in the middle and ribs on the side.
Meat Combo (የስጋ በያይነቱ)
A combination of kitfo, gored, qey wot, gomen, and cabbage.
Tibs (ጥብስ)
Cubed, tender beef sautéed in awaze and niter vibe with onions, green peppers, and homemade spices.
Andinet (አንድነት)
A combination of full orders of kitfo and lega tibs.
Lega Tibs or Geba Weta (ለጋ ጥብስ)

Qebe Firfir

Mild, beef stripes sautéed in nitir qibe with onions, green pepper, garlic, and ginger.

Beef stripes slowly simmered in berbere and niter vibe with onions, garlic, and ginger.

The area has a couple more Ethiopian restaurants, which is an indicator of the Ethiopian migrants community's influence on this corner of the central district. But like most Ethiopian restaurants, this space is inward looking, meaning it is a place exclusive for the Ethiopians and Africans. As the central district continues to face gentrification, and the culture losing its flavor, this is the time to visit this space before they are pushed out of business. The customer service...

Really great food and super friendly and helpful staff! We shared the meat combo between 2 people and were both very full. Highly recommend the coffee ceremony. An excellent way to finish the meal. The coffee is excellent!

I love Zagol :) I would say this is my favourite Ethiopian restaurant in seattle. The food is as authentic as it gets. I could make some or go grab some food here! Tastes just like home
