Went in for one last burger before they close. The line is long, but if you're a Zippy's fan, well worth the wait! I thought with the onslaught of people trying to get their last fix in, the quality might suffer a bit. IT DID NOT! Still a good, fresh bun with crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes with a perfectly charred meat patty. I had the Great Dane, which was loaded with scrumptious bleu cheese and a huckleberry shake. The shake was gone before food came, it was that good!! He had the Last Grasp and said it was just as good as he remembered. He chose a mocha shake that he said was delicious. (He also had the willpower to wait until his food arrived!) Fries, tots and onion rings accompanied the burgers and were crisped just right. Add their "secret sauce" and, well, you know. . . . Alas, it's time to say good-bye to another great local institution. Zippy's has been a great supporter of our little White Center community and have done so much to educate and help people get work skills when no one else would or could. Thank you Zippy's! I just saw the fb post that Zippy's is closing. Sad day. They have the best burgers in Seattle. I always got the one with the spicy link and the fried egg. Soooo dang good!!! Decent fries and good tartar sauce. My only complaint ever was no fountain drinks. 14 years was not a long enough run for a place this good. Good luck in your next venture.

Zippys never disappoints. Yeah, you have to wait, sometimes a long time. And calling ahead can be hit or miss because they are usually busy. But they are definitely the best burgers in West Seattle, White Center and Burien. What are you waiting for? Go.

Not a great experience. Restaurant was empty, placed an order for 2 Zippy burgers, 2 fries, and onion rings. - Checked on order after waiting 25 min, they forgot to make it. - Finally got order, they forgot one fry and the onion rings. - Wanted me to wait longer for them to make the rest. I walked out. - Burgers were overcooked & dry, fry was very under cooked. They have one job, to make burgers and fries. This isn't Master Chef. Personally, I do not have over an hour to wait for 2 basic cheeseburgers & fries. Not worth what you pay for. Overpriced and incompetent staff.

Had a good burger. The guy running the cash register on Saturday was very helpful. He recommended the last gasp burger which was fantastic. I also ordered onion rings with my burger and those too were good. Topped it off with what I think was their special sauce, which went nicely with tater tots and onion rings. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

All burgers come with American cheese unless specified. Other cheese choices are: cheddar, smoked cheddar, Monterey jack, Swiss, pepper jack & blue.
Zippys has the best burgers in Seattle. Five star food, five star service. You can order any burger on the menu and you're gonna be satisfied. My go to is the No. 11.. it always hits the spot!

Heck yeah!!! Zippy's has been a part of our community for sooo long & they've never been anything but perfect!!! I don't eat meat, so luckily they make an outstanding black bean burger!!! It's amazing!!! Their tots are always a go-to & the bottled soda & ambiance brings a sense of comfort & memories of better days. Everyone working here has always been nice. The super giant burger is what my son always gets. I should tell him to get a job there with how many he eats. Lol. I would freak out if Zippy's ever left us!!! Everyone from W Sea knows & loves Zippy's!!!
