Some of the most generous, friendly, attentive service in Seattle.We visited on a whim on a Tuesday evening, and we were the only guests during our time there. There was a server whose shift ended shortly after taking our orders, so it was just us and the owner/chef afterward. Really felt more like we had been invited into a family home to eat.The food is pretty good, very homey. Gigantic portions.Salmon penne - it could have used more vegetables, basil, and salt (or maybe just less pasta). The owner suggested adding more stuff at home to the leftovers, which I did, and it was great!Chicken marsala - can't go wrong with a cream, mushroom, and white wine sauce. Very good, and well seasoned.The menu and interior do feel a bit dated as others have said, but it didn't bother us. But I really think the specials menu should include prices.

Had a wonderful dinner here with two friends last night! I had the penne puttanesca while my companions both had the penne salmon, and all of our dishes were fantastic. Best puttanesca I’ve ever had, hands down, and the salad and bread were great starters for the meal. We were the last customers in the restaurant but were assured by the chef himself not to rush and were even given a piece of tiramisu! Our server was great too, didn’t catch his name but he was there Wednesday night and made our experience great!Great food, wine, service, and vibes. Highly recommend!!

The restaurante was perfect. We ordered everything and they forgot something. The chef personally came to the table, apologized for the inconvenience and made it up to us. It was the best experience I’ve had in Washington.Recommend 11 out of 10

Really authentic food that genuinely tastes like it was made from a family kitchen. The gnocchi was incredible, some of the best gnocchi I’ve had in the city. They give you really good portions for good prices too. Only lowlight was this was our second attempt at eating here - since it’s so small they’ll turn you away completely if they have no openings or reservations. Somewhat expected but just make sure you plan accordingly.

The chef asks if it's delicious...A chef who greets you when you leave...The mushroom soup and lobster ravioli were delicious.The tiramisu was too sweet because it had icing instead of cream.
