Early Thursday afternoon and we decided to stop in for a tasting. I enjoyed a sampling of reds and my husband had whites. A plate of tapenade, hummus and pita was ordered with our drinks. We really enjoyed talking with our server and she was very personable. Wines were good as was the small plate of food. We’ve been enjoying and buying David’s wine for years. Last Friday at an insanely busy, fun, musical first Friday we tried the 2016 Barbera and once again the flavor profile was spot on; loads of dark berry fruit on the nose and palate, smooth almost silky mouth-feel and a long lingering finish. The taproom is cute and comfortable in the middle of the downtown area with plenty of shops and places to eat and drink. Wind Rose Cellars wines are some of my favorite wines. Their Barbera is complex and delicious, and they currently have a Sagrantino that was amazing! For white wines, I've always loved the Moscato and the Wild Coast White, but I tried The Keeper this time as well, which was crisp and fantastic
