OK. I've been holding back on posting a review on this hidden gem, because I want to keep this a secret! Lol. The vibe, the service, and the food are more than 10's. I like the 49er Flapjacks but the omelets, German pancakes, and everything else are great as well. Shhhh. Go, but keep it a secret.
My wife and I met a friend here for brunch on a Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. Had about a 20 minute wait in the somewhat crowded lobby. Was quite happy I found parking in the lot, as I've had to park down the hill before, which isn't fun when you have an arthritic knee. The food: I still think this place is over-hyped. My wife chose the Italiano Omelet ($20.95). Apparently she's not a fan of "French Baked Omelets", as she didn't care for the almost skin-like texture or the weird old oil flavors she got. Baked omelets have never appealed to me, which is why I didn't order one. Just give me the gently fried over low heat Julia Child type omelet. I had the German Pancake ($20.95), which in most restaurants is called a Dutch Baby (a name likely coined by a Seattle restaurant years ago). I've had them in a number of different restaurants and made them at home. Made perfectly, it should be large, light, and fluffy. The edges of mine fit that definition, but the bottom was far too thick and dense for me...too much flour and not enough beaten egg. It was a bit too chewy; hardly light and fluffy. The one high point for me was the expensive (but worth it) side of thick sliced bacon ($8.65) that I ordered. You get four slices of perfectly cooked, salty, smoky delicious bacon. It's better than any bacon I've ever had in any restaurant. I'd likely return just for the bacon! Service was fine and smiling staff throughout the restaurant greet you when you're being seated and when you leave; a very nice touch. I may return and I may not. Some of the other egg (not omelet) offerings interest me.
French omelette was perfect. Julia Child would be proud. Very nice pancakes as well. Delicious coffee. Friendly and attentive service. Good value.
We are from Canada and intentionally visited this restaurant based on reviews and menu choices. It did not disappoint!! So many amazing choices. I stuck with the classic. Buttermilk pancakes made from sourdough. BEST pancakes ever. And the bacon was divine!! Everything is made from scratch. Service and view, fabulous. Would come back time and time again If you love a home style breakfast place. This is the one.
Very good! We had the Oak Tree breakfast and Gourmet Gobble sandwich. Good quality meats and bread. I would definitely recommend and would visit here again.
Extremely good food, atmosphere wonderful and so was waitress. The food was great(they give you a lot, so share) and make a lot of stuff themselves. It was also cool that the owners are huge Beatles fans.
It was my birthday yesterday. My husband and I made the trek from Everett with our dog to meet up with family for breakfast to celebrate my birthday at this place. We had called a few days earlier to ask if the dogs were allowed on the patio. We had eaten there many times, including on the patio several years ago. We were told, and I quote, "Absolutely, dogs are allowed on the patio!" Once we got there, however, we were told that there was no service on the patio, and if we wanted to eat outside (the only option available to us, given that we had our dog with us), we would have to order our food to go. That would have been helpful information to share when we called on the phone a few days earlier! Eating eggs out of a Styrofoam container with plastic forks seemed like a very unpleasant way to celebrate my birthday (I assume that had we stayed, we would have been expected to tip for the experience!), so we left, having to scramble to figure out plan B. The whole experience was so disappointing. This used to be my favorite breakfast spot (we used to live in the area and would go often).
This is a very cute and friendly, family-oriented restaurant! The staff were very welcoming and kind, and the food was delicious. I will certainly be back!
First time in and will absolutely be back. Food was great, atmosphere and view was great and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Here is a fun behind the scenes pic of the crew finishing up my chorizo omelette and a couple other pics.

Loved the fresh squeezed orange juice and sausage. It was very expensive for two of us to dine but big portions. The apple pancake was far too sweet for me but perfect for someone who may have a sweet tooth. Eggs Nicole was veggie filled and fresh. Potato pancakes were incredibly bland and I wish we had some salt and pepper at the table. All in all, it’s a great atmosphere with excellent service. It just depends on what you order!

I had the salmon Eggs Benedict and it was amazing! There were nice paintings on the wall and a great view too. I was drinking a lot of water and the waitress kept it filled. If I could give 6 stars I would

These folks actively age discriminate in their hiring. If they are too fancy to hire the sweetest 60 year old lady, they are too good for my $$$. Y’all have fun with that now.
It's a solid vibe, the boys and I come here all the time for brunch. It's a military frequented location so expect navy boys on week days.
