OK. I've been holding back on posting a review on this hidden gem, because I want to keep this a secret! Lol. \n\nThe vibe, the service, and the food are more than 10's. I like the 49er Flapjacks but the omelets, German pancakes, and everything else are great as well. \n\nShhhh. Go, but keep it a secret.
My wife and I met a friend here for brunch on a Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. Had about a 20 minute wait in the somewhat crowded lobby. Was quite happy I found parking in the lot, as I've had to park down the hill before, which isn't fun when you have an arthritic knee.\n\nThe food: I still think this place is over-hyped. We are from Canada and intentionally visited this restaurant based on reviews and menu choices. It did not disappoint!! So many amazing choices. I stuck with the classic. Buttermilk pancakes made from sourdough. BEST pancakes ever. And the bacon was divine!! Everything is made from scratch. \nService and view, fabulous. Would come back time and time again \nIf you love a home style breakfast place. This is the one.
