On a Facebook page (kitsap county dining) it appears one of their employees or possible owner, David Vazquez Arreygue, responded to someone’s honest review with a very unprofessional and condescending reply. True lack of professionalism on top of some poor food reviews.

Ordered steak, sauce tasted like fish, was pretty gross. Bread was dried sliced bread from a grocery store. Take out orders got priority over people eating in.

The service was good, and the atmosphere was cozy. my wife and I did not like our food. I had a Margherita pizza with Caesar salad, and my wife had a salad with chicken on it. The chicken on the salad was breaded and thin (which was good) but just a few on basically a bed of lettuce only. My salad was good, but the pizza perhaps was one of the worst I've ever eaten I pride myself in eating pizza everywhere I go, nationally or internationally, and also managed and worked in various pizza restaurants. The cust was bad; the sauce was nothing special, and the cheese, OMG. It was some weird combination of cheese. Not Mozzarella, if it was, then I've never seen it in 45 years. I had only ONE Piece. got a box and took it home. the dog had a piece, and the rest went in the trash. Paid a cool $70. Sorry. 2+ years in Kitsap County, and we are still looking for a restaurant that we can say WOW.

Parking: Dark parking lot with big potholes. There's obviously a shortage or lights in Washington State. Everywhere you go it's dark.

Genuinely worst italian food ive ever had. Salad was limp, bruchettea was just chopped tomatoes on white bread, and lasagna was graniy and pasta tasted like someone dumped canned cream sause on a pile of noodles and farted on it. Made me crave frozen lasagna. Garlic was absent from the meal entirely.

I ordered the ribeye with red wine, mushrooms & topped with gorganzola and served over mashed potatoes. I also ordered the seared tuna with spinach & risotto. The message from the restaurant was No Special Instructions Accepted. The ribeye came extremely rare, cold in the center, the red wine was very sweet, too sweet to go with the mashes potatoes; which had many large lumps, not really mashed potatoes. The tuna was almost raw, not seared but gently warmed & grey on the outside only. The risotto and spinach were good, but there was only about 5 small leaves

Not impressed with anything about this place. The food wasn't necessarily bad, but I wouldn't get anything expensive like steak. The afogato was just liquor in ice cream, it was practically undrinkable. They have a full liquor bar, but they have no cocktails to speak of. They sell donuts as well, but it's just a a case at the back, not advertised anywhere, not even the menu. Everything here just seems half complete. The sausage calzone wasn't too bad (sliced, not ground). The tiramisu was pretty good, though not correctly made.

Just got back from 2 weeks at sea and really wanted some fried calamari, but the portion control was laughable and frankly unacceptable. For 16$ only receiving 10 pieces of obviously frozen calamari with zero seasoning is not okay. I will not ever be returning here.

I have been coming here for years. I have yet to find a restaurant that serves tastier spaghetti! Spaghetti tomorrow with prawns is my favorite!

I ordered the seafood pasta special that had lobster on it, but the lobster was honestly gross. It was entirely freezer burnt, rubbery and spongy with a poor taste. On the bright side, the server replaced my order promptly with a different seafood dish which was much much better.

My husband really liked his food and my son ordered a pizza which he adored.

I might have to give this place a second try sometime to see if it was just a random miss.

We love to come to this quaint little Italian restaurant hidden in a strip mall. Wonderful food and service. We always feel welcome and they are great with making our young kids have a good meal that they want to eat. We recently spent our anniversary there and were treated like family!

Facts:

-Restaurant dead empty at 7pm on a Wednesday
-Waitress was friendly
-Bread and oil was minimal, but free and tasty
-Fried calamari was almost tasteless unless you made sure pieces of Parmesan were in your bite. The breading had no seasoning.
-marinara was blazing hot and a watery mess. Not tasty.
-ceasar salad was gross, brown lettuce, unacceptable to give a customer
-Lobster ravioli was over glazed but adding more Parmesan balanced the flavor and it was quite delicious
-GOT CHARGED $$ FOR ASKING FOR MORE PARMESAN!! (Seriously, what the heck!?!)

Will we return?? No, we will not return unless the owner responds here and promises to improve our experience. We want to support local businesses, but only if they actually care about their customers. Our experience made it seem like the owner/chef really doesn't care about the business.

Quaint and unsuspecting, but phenomenal food at seattle restaurant prices.
