I liked this place but... The service is great and you can tell the ingredients are high quality, but there were a few bumps. Personally I don't love the cinnamon roll - it's too sweet and under done in the middle. The one at Lil Jon's in Bellevue is much better. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy and the gravy was awful. It was pasty and grainy and tasted like chemicals, almost like they had accidently spilled cleanser or something in it. I can't imagine...
The Cafe was packed when we arrived and we were told it would be a 20 minute wait that turned into 35 minutes. It was smart to order a cinnamon roll to share among the 5 of us. I am not usually a cinnamon roll fan, but this one was definitely worth the calories. It was warm, delicious, not overly sweet and the favorite item at the table, hands down. We even had some leftover to take home. Our actual breakfast took quite a while to arrive and we ended up with two incorrect orders....
You cannot go wrong. Fun & classic downstairs venue with a huge menu. You get what you pay for. We each ordered a standard breakfast with a cinnamon roll and needed 3 boxes. The cinnamon roll is MASSIVE and incredibly good. The hollandaise sauce is wonderful. Fresh cut potatoes, fresh produce. If I could give 6 stars I would.
