“We stopped here once before about seven years ago. We just happened to be in town again and had to return to this place. The restaurant is very basic, nothing fancy inside, but the huge fresh oysters cooked on the BBQ has got to be the best I have ever had! They also offer other seafood; I had clam strips which were FRESH caught locally, not frozen and they are so good! The main downside is they currently only accept cash and with seafood, that is a hardship for many nowadays. We almost didn't stop because we don't carry cash anymore, but we remembered how yummy their oysters were and so we went to an ATM in town to get some cash. It was $23 for 6 oysters (we actually got 7 on the plate). Clam Strips were $16.“

“I've never eaten inside here just ordered out but I'm going to give it a 5 out of 5 just for the fact when it's open and I've tried to go in for a table it's so pact by locals that they didn't even have a spot for me to sit and had to do order out.
Like when I mean packed the entire parking lot will be filled and the entire place as well inside will be filled to the point if you're not early when they're opening you must order out.“

“A hidden gem in Raymond! The oyster shooters were an impressive size, the atmosphere was friendly and the bar tender was incredibly welcoming. A+ beer ? Bummed it was closed when we passed through Raymond this weekend, but hopefully it opens again soon!“

“We had lunch for the 1st time ever at Skylar's! New Year's Day on our way to Long Beach... The food and service was prenominal! I had the homemade clam chowder, and 5 grilled oysters, and my husband had the fish and chips! Excellent Service, Friendly atmosphere, and Superb Chowder for me! I would love the recipe... as that day we went to go dig razor clams.“
