“Get the fish-wich. I felt an almost childlike nostalgia for the best fish sandwich I had up to this point - knowing this was better. Simple and just right.

Unfortunately (post Astoria 10k) they were way behind. So tables became very competitive. They need shades for that blazing sun. And honestly- the chowder was ho-hum. But…that fish-wich….“

The BEST homemade strawberry lemonade I've ever tasted! Wonderful staff and great seating options as well. I will absolutely return when I come back. A much better option than Fort George (although anywhere in town is).“

You cannot ever go wrong with a burger or the Boom Boom Salad (I could eat one every day happily for the rest of my life) and to change it up, don't forget to visit right around the corner; their sister restaurant serves up delicious quesadillas! Teona and Paul have been a staple of our culinary culture in Astoria for so long it's impossible to think about a night at the Liberty without a bite at T Paul's first. Love this place, and don't forget to try a dessert! You won't be sorry!“

“Hey, We liked the pizza enough to return the following night for more. Wintertime pizza (add bacon) & the Hawaiian were the bomb with hot honey. Good crust.
Second night was a bummer as we were seated next to a huge group celebrating. But the food and beer were still good. Just wish people would respect their neighboring tables space.
First night was the best as we shared a huge table, could hold a good conversation, and Chris was a great waiter, friendly, helpful, and I could tell he was keeping an eye on his tables from a distance. That's smart skill. The wife loves a good crisp cider (not the sugary ciders) Her comment is it would be neat if there were 2 cider choices at least. Crisp tasty hard ciders that have flavor, not sugar, but not bone dry either.

“Huge shot out to Merry Time Bar. My wife and I have not been able to shoot pool since before COVID-19. This was how we met so it brought back a ton of wonderful memories. Plus the games were only 50 cents. Talk about a deal. We have recently started to play pinball, and this bar is a dream come true. As a new player it was amazing to get a few high scores, and we look forward to the comedy night—as she used to perform in our hometown as an opener for national talent—and, of course, the pinball competitions and special days. A big thank you to the owner. It was an absolute treat to play some of the top games ever made and they were all in good condition. As a small business owner, I understand how difficult it is to run a good company, and this one is top notch. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and drop in for a wonderful night. I cannot recommend enough!!!“

“Poor service and the owner is extremely rude. There was only 2 tables other than ours being waited on . We ended up leaving after no service for 20 minutes . After reading the response the owner left on other Google reviewers posts I'm glad we did not stay.“

“Took a sister trip to Oregon, our first stop for two nights was their Airbnb next to the tavern. Great accommodations all around!!! The staff are friendly and helpful, good food, and fun atmosphere in the tavern. And they had the cutest outdoor patio behind the building with numerous seating and fun things to do. Their Airbnb was awesome too. Very clean, spacious, and the beds were amazing!!! We will definitely be coming back!!“
