“We came down for a girls weekend and our weekend always has to include a stop at this bar. Larime is an amazing bartender. He goes the extra mile to make sure your drink is exactly what you desire and more. His Hot Toddy is amazing. I had the coffee nudge, which was excellent. Thanks again and see you next time we are in town.AnoukPDX“
“Charming little family friendly bowling alley. Decent shoestring fries with a simple fry sauce that hit the spot. Fresh veggies. smoky, chewy bacon with a bit of black pepper-very tasty. Generous patty cooked well with a nice crisp exterior over juicy meat.“
“I cannot believe that we have never tried this restaurant before. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted very warmly from two different people. I was immediately impressed with the log cabin ambiance of the restaurant. As soon as we walked from the front foyer area into the main room, we felt the warmth from the large, middle of the room, fireplace. The fire was roaring and it was so rustic. Our server promptly came over with ice waters for our entire party, offering to take our beverage order. We went with coffees, which was hot and freshly brewed. The breakfast and lunch menus gave us plenty of options, but not to where it was overwhelming. For our meals, my daughter ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict which was huge and delicious! The hollandaise had the best flavor. My son ordered a cheeseburger and it was cooked just the way he wanted. My other daughter and I shared the BLT on sourdough. It was yummy! We all really loved the fries, they seemed to be double fried and seasoned. Our waitress, Laura, was so attentive. Our drinks never were empty and we had everything that we needed. We did not have to deal with parking as we walked from our house. 10/10 I recommend this place!“
“Hubby had homemade linguini alfredo and I had beef filet. The food was FABULOUS. Cooked to perfection, everything tasted sublime. Soft live classical guitar set a relaxing ambiance. JJ and Ashley were friendly prompt and accomodating. Would strongly recommend The Bistro! And will be returning when we are next in town. Dinner here was the highlight of our trip THANKS“
“We just googled a place for breakfast, and Arnie's popped up. We are so glad we tried this place. Huge portions and the food was amazing, especially for the very reasonable prices. The staff was all friendly and accommodating. The place was packed when we arrived on a Sunday morning, but we got a table quickly. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!“
“Visiting from Canada and stopped in for a beer and fries. Holy cow, get the dirty fries if you like blue cheese, killer seasoning, jalapeños and hot sauce. Hands down best fires ever, and I’ve been around a minute! Get off the busy Main Street and hit Public Coast!“
“Was not expecting much but left very happy with the food we ordered. I got the basil mozzarella and tomato panini and my partner got the gyro. Everything was so well done and the portions are generous. The baguette of the panini was especially well done.Recommend this spot for a light lunch.Vegetarian options: Some very good options on the menu.“
“This might be one of my favorite all-time places I've ever visited (and I've been traveling nonstop for the last three years!). The food was excellent, and I loved that they were showing NFL playoff football on the movie theatre screen. Having that movie theatre feel for an NFL game was just so much fun. I sat on the bar stools, then made my way to the balcony, then sat in the main lower area for the rest of the game. Just a great place to enjoy excellent food and have a unique restaurant experience!“
“Fantastic experience at MacGregors! Great cocktails and we really enjoyed the brie cheese special. Perfectly located near Haystack rock. We enjoyed the sunny weather from their patio, Gabe was a wonderful server, we will be back!Parking: Right across from the large public parking lot, as convenient as it gets in Cannon Beach.“
“It was pretty good. They were very generous with the burger topics which was awesome!! But the burger patty was definitely over cooked and it was very thin. They do not ask for cooking preferences which is OK. The service was super fast and the blonde girl who served us today was helpful and efficient.“
“Very good service. The prawns were delicious. The well done ground beef steak was a little overcooked (even for well done) and the baked potatoe wasn't very hot. The ice cream for dessert was a little freezer burned, but it was all good enough to want to go back. They weren't very busy, but all of the tourists were in downtown Seaside. The issues with the food could have been because we were there so close to closing time.“
“So, there is a certain very popular brew pub around the corner from this bar. The wait was something obnoxious like 2 hours. We wandered into the Screw and Brew and I'm very glad we did. Great bartender, Ahi Salad was amazing, wonderful selection of IPAs. Would come here first.“
“We stoped in for lunch on a whim and all I can say is, Wow, wow, wow. I absolutely did not expect the food to be as delicious as it was. The fish and chips were superb, the Wellington burger was incredible. The bacon wrapped dates like sweet and savory treat. The young man serving was so sweet. We were so impressed. And the prices were such a great deal. Highly recommend.“
“Stopped by here to get a post card to send my 9 year old brother and grabbed some fresh cookies for my daughter and niece while I checked out, I got the snickerdoodle for me and frosted sugar for them. Really good cookies and the older woman at the cash register was sweet“
“I had the pleasure of Dining in at “The Putter Room”, the bar and restaurant with the Seaside Golf Club. While sitting at the bar, I had a wonderful view of the greens, even though it was a rainy day. The Bartender who was helping me was kind, and very helpful. I ordered chicken fried steak with eggs, hashbrowns and toast for breakfast, and had a Shirley temple to drink. Everything was wonderful. The food was cooked perfectly, and the drink was very refreshing and nice. The Patreon’s at the bar treated me like I was a friend even though they had never met me before. Overall, the experience was something I enjoyed and I look forward to returning to the Seaside Golf Club!“
“We were looking to start off another rainy day with a good brunch and after passing by this place a few times we decided to give it a chance. We were seated right away and our friendly server came up and took our order. I decided on the sourdough pancakes with some sausage and eggs on the side. The pancakes were light, fluffy and just the perfect way to start out the day. We had a great experience from start to finish so wouldn't hesitate to go here again.“
“Anytime I visited Oregon coast. I have to go to pig n pancake.. They have the best bacon ever... They're sauces to go on their pancakes are amazing I would recommend this to anyone visiting the seaside area for breakfast. Or for lunch they also have awesome lunches. Plus they have a small little shopping area to pick up a great souvenir.“
“This place is usually pretty good. It’s just inconsistent. We went yesterday and the guy working there said they don’t do the jumbo size anymore and they don’t have Bavarian cream. I’ll still probably go back next time though so I’ll see what’s changed.“
“I was looking for a place that was open and offered good food along with soup. I decided that Uptown Cafe was my best choice and stopped in as a single diner yesterday around 7 PM. I appreciated that they are open until 9 PM as most places around here close at 8 PM and I don't like going to eat at a location that I know is closing up soon. There were a few tables occupied and one server. I looked at their specials which included a creamy mushroom soup! After a short time he came over to seat me and was very affable.I was seated at a nice window seat and decided upon the mushroom soup and their special pot roast. The server came back over to my table and took my order. He apologized for the wait, which in this post-covid era, wasn't much of a wait at all.My soup came out right away, and it was delicious. I was able to enjoy it while waiting for my food. The main course arrived and it was a huge portion size. I ate half of it and had to take the other half home. The pot roast was cooked perfectly, melting off my fork. The entire meal was very reasonably priced and exceeded my expectations. I had not visited here before because the outside and the location gave me the impression it was an average tourist stop along the way to the coast but I could not have been more wrong about that.I will definitely be back again!“
“The only thing good that we found about this on our Saturday visit to this pub & grill ...was that the Bee Bops made the food. the customer service at the Big kahuna was ridiculously rude. unless you're coming in for a jello shot or a bloody Mary... you don't matter. Also, it may say children friendly pub and grill, but it is not. If you have kids you can definitely expect half par service from the ladies at the bar. However, the Bee Bops food ( I understand they're cooking for the Big kahuna) was outrageously awesome and the customer service WHEN THEY brought our food was outstanding! It just seems like the two ladies who run the bar are not happy. and I get it, we all have bad days, but my kids shouldn't have to pay the price for that. We will not be returning to your "family friendly" spot. Thank you“
“Stopped in to get some sauce for our steet tacos we were preparing back at our room. Decided to have a drink while we waited and were pleased we did. The staff were so friendly, we felt like we were at our hometown pub. Nothing pretentious, just honest to goodness friendly hometown vibes. Charki was working on some graphics with a local named Joel and we somehow got sucked into the process, what a hoot. We all had fun chatting about the "project", then we ordered some food and headed back to our condo. The rice and beans were excellent and we got a side order of the sauce they used for the Camarone's Diablo. OMG flavor town in our room thanks to Billy Macs. A word of advice to people coming to visit Seaside, if you want to experience a hometown pub feel, with a group of folks who make it fun don't miss out on Billy Mac's!! Best value for happy hour by far, and we have visited many of the local establishments over the past 20 years. First timers at BM's but not going to be our last visit. Two thumbs up!!“
“Had breakfast with my spouse. The country fried steak was on point- cubed steak with sausage gravy and plenty of potatoes. My wife had good old bacon and eggs. She likes her eggs completely cooked through-weird taste in eggs and men- anyhow they got the eggs right. Service was fast and efficient. It's not fine dining but it gets the job done. We'll be back.“
“We dined in for breakfast and the moment we walked through the door, the service was exceptional! Our waitress was so attentive and the Saturday special was delicious and just enough food. Our kiddos got a toy after we ate as well for the treasure box! Definitely a hidden gem.“
