“It was next to our hotel so we gave it a try, and we were not disappointed! I had the chicken and chips and they weren't strips or nuggets. These were breast halves in a killer batter and deep fried. The fries were seasoned and hot. She had a shrimp basket and said it was great as well. It was close to closing, but they made us a pot of coffee anyway. The restaurant was closed, so we ate in the lounge (bar) and it was fine.“

“What a pleasant surprise! My family and I walked into this shop and were immediately greeted by Corrine, who was incredibly warm and patient, even with our large group of kids and all our questions. Her superior customer service alone is reason enough to return, but the treats blew us away. The dark chocolate and pistachio fudge were fresh and delicious, ice cream delightful and creamy, but the true standout was the white sea foam. It was hands down the best I've ever had—not too hard, not too soft, and with perfect white chocolate. It was so amazing, it might be the best thing I've eaten all year. I would love to know if you offer shipping; this treat is worth it. Seriously, please let me know if possible. 😆 Also, I notice the ice cream prices were better priced than the other shop next door. “Stopped in for lunch and had the yummiest fish and chips, the smash burger special, and our daughter had a huge kids pancake topped with strawberries and whipped cream. The food was amazing, and the service was even better! We will definitely be back. Our daughters already requested we make it a regular thing 🤣.“

“My friend and I stopped at the Blue Agate Cafe looking for food and a bathroom and a place to sit. We visited during Phase 1 of re-opening from Covid19. We were hungry and grubby and not from the area. But, we were met with eyes smiling from behind a mask and immediately felt at ease. After our order was placed, I asked about using the restroom facilities. I was met at the back door with a squirt of hand sanitizer so, mask on, I took care of my needs and washed with soap and running water, for 20 seconds, twice. We were offered outdoor seating in a pretty little back courtyard sheltered from the wind and full of blooming flowers. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the house made veggie burger and, as a connoisseur of veggie burgers, this was easily one of the best I have ever had. The service was friendly and just made me feel easy and welcome. Lunch yesterday was a delightful culinary and social experience. I highly recommend this small eatery to anybody wishing to be treated as family in all the best ways. Thank you.“

The breakfast sanddollars were incredible along with the blueberry muffin/biscuit. Their convenient location is a quick walk to the end on the block where the most perfect views of the beach await you. “I went to the Salmonberry tonight with my family and friends for the first time since they reopened. I have to say I was BLOWN AWAY. The food was incredible. It was so fresh and delicious and quick. But what really got me was the service. The young man who was hosting was polite and accommodating. The staff were all friendly. I have to say having a really good meal with a very pleasant dinning experience on the nicest day of the summer was magical. This is the Salmonberry at its best!!!“

Very friendly staff. Short wait of 15 minutes to get seated. Outdoor or indoor seating.
Staff had great recommendations.
We had the shrimp grits, calamari salad and crab mac.
