Ambrosia is a lovely Bistro restaurant. They offer a limited item menu with a very nice higher end dining selection. My wife and I enjoyed the wagyu burger with fries. The burger was perfectly cooked to our specifications, the fries were crispy and seasoned but not overly seasoned.
For a nice lunch or dinner date with a higher end feel I highly recommend Ambrosia.

Such a lovely place for a meal and a conversation. The food was excellent and the service was perfection. I'll definitely be returning. Sorry no photos this time but believe me the taste and presentation were perfect.

Absolutely a gem. There is literally nothing you order here that hasn't been honed to perfection in taste. The wait staff was incredible. We were here as part of a large group and they accommodated us beautifully. I can't say enough about the food.

Delicious, quiet, hidden gem in Spokane. Beautiful restaurant! Our waitress was friendly, attentive and pretty familiar with their menu. The food was delicious, my husband really enjoyed his steak. Pleased to know they have a rotating menu, and will be back.

Food was the best part of my experience. We had a rude pair who kept pushing our booth back every time they laughed. Trip of pompous traveling salesmen set up shop with their laptops and talked trash about Spokane while they went over their scripts…Had to beg the waitress for my bill.

We’ve been visiting Ambrosia on and off for a few of years, and after about a year away, we came back for lunch specifically craving their prawns and purses…one of our favorites from the past.

The service was exceptional. We had a long, relaxed lunch without feeling rushed or interrupted, which is increasingly rare and very appreciated. The atmosphere was calm, and the music fit the space well.

We started with a Caesar salad and beet salad, followed by the soup of the day (described as birria) and the French onion. The beet salad was the standout. It was well balanced and flavorful. The Caesar, however, was overwhelmed with hard, shredded cheese (more like pre-shredded than freshly grated), which made the whole dish feel heavy and one-note rather than crisp and bright.

The “birria” soup leaned more toward a stew, with chunks of short rib instead of the rich, shredded, deeply developed flavor you’d expect. The French onion was fine, but nothing memorable.

The biggest disappointment was the prawns and purses. What we remembered as a delicate, balanced dish has turned into something much heavier. The sauce was thick and overly cheesy (almost gummy) and completely overpowered the pasta and prawns. It felt less like a refined dish and more like a heavy Alfredo, with the purses getting lost underneath what honestly felt like a dump truck of cheese.

Overall, we left feeling conflicted. The service and atmosphere were spot on, but the food didn’t live up to what we’ve experienced here before. We were really hoping to reconnect with an old favorite, but instead left missing the Ambrosia we used to know.

We recently went here for our daughter's birthday. We hadn't been for some time but had very good experiences previously. I ordered the curry at the servers suggestion. My wife ordered the cajun pasta (knowing that almost every time she orders, it never quite satisfies). Daughter ordered the steak salad. None of us were the slightest disappointed. The server was attentive but not intrusive. Helpful with suggestions and upbeat. A dessert was offered for the birthday girl and she ordered the chocolate cake. Again.... not over the top but just the right amount of chocolate with cherries and whip cream. We had leftovers, and this demonstrates how the little things make such a big difference to your dining experience. They didn't bring the boxes out for you to struggle to get what was left into those containers at your table, but took them back to the kitchen, boxed and bagged and brought out when we were ready to leave. Impeccable!

Loved dining here! So glad we chose this for restaurant week. They offered a GF option with each course which is always a win in our book. We will definitely be back to try other items on their menu. 🤩
