Not only is Char an extremely talented brewer, the atmosphere and set up of the bar is always top notch. We love to stop by during our bike rides to grab a quick drink. Their stouts and IPAs are always amazing, but I particularly love the sours. They also host cool events like art-making and Halloween parties. If you’re looking for a classy but fun place to hang out, and have excellent tasting beer to go with, check out Badass Backyard Brewing.

As per it's name this place is badass, after being a little dissapointed in the breweries in portland and seattle this place did not disappoint, it had multiple awesome beers and a great selection. I wish this brewery was north of the border.

Badass Backyard Brewing is, well, BADASS! The layout is fantastic, and there is a beer for every taste. It is a fantastic place to socialize and is most definitely LGBTQ+ friendly.My favorite is the Black Cherry Stout! So good! As an added bonus, the Brewer (Char) is HIlarious. It's absolutely one of my favorite places to go to decompress.!Warning!It is BYOF friendly. She does serve sausages, and there are some good food spots nearby.
