Could not be happier with our first time experience at Black Straw Tea Bar and Kitchen! I came specifically for the Chinese food and was not disappointed. The combo chow mein and egg rolls + complimentary soup were so good. The food was fresh and flavorful and not overly greasy in the least. The service staff were friendly and efficient. Will be back soon!

We got there and was sat 5 minutes after we got there. Got water, menus. Everything was good. We thought. Waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Another 15 minutes for our drinks. And another 20 minutes for our food. We were checked on once. Besides taking forever, the food was good.
Maybe we came on a bad night. No apologies. Just business as usual. Its a 50/50 shot if we go back.

The food at Black Straw is DELICIOUS, and the portions are HUGE! We order a chicken fried rice and a veggie fried rice and have enough food for 3 meals. It’s always hot, fresh, and super yummy. The egg foo young is tasty, too! We usually get it To Go, and service is fantastic.
