Used to be great food, kinda went down hill last couple of years, ordered 2 burritos yesterday, they used to come with lettuce and tomato now you have to ask for it, workers are not the friendliest, prices seem to have gone up to!

Great food, great people but you have to check your order 100% every time before you leave the drive through. We eat here frequently and they leave something out EVERY time.

This location really needs to be looked at more by whom ever is in charge. The food is normally good, but the amount of times things are forgotten is ridiculous. The Tres Leches is $5, we paid for it (along with our other food of course) through the drive through tonight and didn’t get it. Nor a receipt. Sucks when you get home and realize you’re missing something you paid for..

I visited Spokane for the weekend and decided to try something different. Instead of opting for the nearby Chipotle, I chose Cafe Rio Fresh Mexican. I used the Drive Thru, so I can't really comment on the atmosphere or the indoor environment, but judging by the number of people going in, it must be okay.I ordered the Quesadilla with Chicken, which came with a generous side of sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo salsa. The entrée was nicely packaged and still hot when I got back to my hotel room. The chicken in the Quesadilla was deliciously seasoned, tasty, and moist. I was impressed. The tortilla was fresh and light. Although I didn't try anything else, I enjoyed my dinner. The entrée was a bit pricey, and I wondered if I could have done better elsewhere. But overall, it was a nice alternative on this snowy evening.

I've been a frequent patron of Café Rio Spokane WA since their opening a few years ago. The last couple years their product and service have gone down hill to say the least. In the past I typically went twice a month or more. The last few times it has been longer than 6 months and each time I remember why I stopped going. Their product is sloppy, poor presentation and very disappointing. Their staff couldn't care less about the food or their customers. My most recent experience they forgot part of my order for my take-out order. Nancy in customer service hung up on me when I called to get a refund. What's happening Cafe Rio?

If I'm in the mood for a burrito or quick Mexican fix this is a great choice. Everything is made fresh and there are lots of options to build it just the way I like it.My order never seems to come out right at the drive thru so I always just go in, plus I like to pick from what looks fresh. It's pretty fast paced behind the counter and food gets thrown around so if you have food allergies or can't risk cross contamination then might not be the best choice. They do try to accommodate which is appreciated.

Cafe Rio is our family's absolute favorite. Every time we travel from Canada, it is the top of the list of restaurants we want to visit. We always go to the great falls location. This was our first time here and the feelings are mixed. The food was amazing as always. The look of the restaurant was OK, not as elaborate as the great falls location but still nice. We were most disappointed by the drink availability. The limeade and horchata are our absolute favorite. We were so disappointed when we saw a worker take away the rest of the left over limeade. We assumed she was cleaning the machine as we saw a container of limeade sitting in plain view, but she said they would not be refilling the drinks for the rest of the night. The restaurant still wasn't set to close for over two hours! This was so disappointing as we were all really looking forward to their specialty drinks. Also they had the key lime pie, but we were told it wouldnt have any whipped cream. I love the pie so I got it anyway, it does NOT taste the same without the cream and I was still charged full price even without the cream. I hate to be overly picky in my reviews, but these two things left made for a negative visit and I've never been disappointed by Cafe Rio. Although the other food was good, we will never return to this location again.Dietary restrictions: You can select the ingredients and sides and omit things as you wish
