I love the pesto sandwich. It being toasted is perfection. The Mac and cheese was good as well. Honestly a little on the plain side but still hit the spot. Ill be back for a pizza soon!
Argonne Caruso's has brought back customer service in a big way. The General Manager is walking tables shaking hands and asking how a person's meal is. The facility is clean and staff is kind. Bathrooms are immaculate and worth the stop for a great lunch!
The chicken pesto sandwich was creamy, toasted, and had perfect flavor. Great portion for the price. I've lived in and eaten through Chicago for ten years, and this is the best Mac and Cheese I had, full stop. Cheese is generous, sauce isn't grainy, noodles al dente, and homemade breadcrumbs. That's all it's gotta be and it's a marvelous embrace of comfort.
